So apparently I have low neutrophils...

Just got a blood count panel run today, and everything came back within range, except my neutrophils.

I gave almost a pint of blood 48 hours ago - is this likely to be the cause, or potentially something else? Do I need to get my last will and testament in order?

Don't hold back. I can take it straight.

You're dying brother. Sorry.

Can I have your stuff? :spin:

Of course I'm kidding, are you taking allergy meds by chance? Here is a pretty informative site that gives a little insight into what they are and what can effect their levels.

It could mean that you are fighting an infection.

You know what, I did feel a little shitty the last couple of days. Took 3000mg vit c and the symptoms went away, as always.

Yes, as long as you're willing to fly to the UK and pry it out of my dead hands ;-)

Not at the moment. I'm taking a few supplements at the moment, but nothing that fits that bill. I have been pretty sleep deprived for some time now mind you.

So basically, I'm probably just run down, and it'll go back to normal? I've never had one of these blood tests done before, and the large red font jumped out at me a little bit!

It's borderline low in my non-MD opinion and I wouldn't sweat it for now. If you don't feel better in a week or so, I'd go see a doc and see what they think.
