So deca takes what, 4 to 5 weeks to be felt?

Deca takes what, 4 to 5 weeks to kick in? For you to feel the effects? I imagine if I am recovering from an injury it would be sooner? I'm having ACL surgery done the 9th of May, and after reading Unity's experience over on anabolicfitness on taking deca along with his rehab, I'm pretty sure thats what I'm going to be doing, however I'm wondering if I should start it a week or so before the surgery so it will kick in faster during rehab than it coming in later on. Any opinions?

I don't know about taking Deca before a surgery.......doesn't it affect the blood clotting ability to some degree ?

I know I wouldn't want to get a tattoo done on a Deca cycle.

It wouldnt really be active though then would it? If it takes a couple of weeks to kick in, and if I took the first ml of it a week before surgery, then it would be a couple of weeks before the effects are seen, and it would be active soon in rehab, however I'm not sure if those couple of weeks, if it takes the drug that long to become active, or if its active a few days after shooting it, just the effect we look for comes later on, but its still active from the beginning.

I have to agree with stonecold on this one, I am a student at P.A school and we havebeen taught to never use steroids prior to surgery. I understand your thinking about how long till it is active but I still think you are taking a bit of a gamble.

I had my knee scoped on the 11th of April, when my last shot of test was just 7 days prior, and that was the end of a 500mg weekly stint for about 10 weeks. So I know there was still a significant amount of gear in my when my knee was scoped, and there weren't any complications then, however this time may be different. Hmmm, I'll search around for more opinions

Deca starts working on day 1, but takes a few weeks before maximal blood concentrations are seen (unless you frontload).

Why in the world would you consider taking deca, especiallly after a surgery? Deca only MASKS joint pain, its NOT a cure! The quick increase in strength would only put MORE stress on your tendons.
