Social drinking on cycle.........

On week 4 prop and ace. How bad would it be to have a drink or 2? I know ppl always say you wana party or train... Just going out for dinner. Would one or 2 straight whiskey drinks be detrimental to my liver or gains?
 
I think a lot people would be surprised to know how much a little alcohol can inhibit their physical progress. 1 or 2? Probably not (IMO). 1 or 2 a week? More than a lot of people realize or would believe. Just my 2 cents.
 
Drinking on cycle is never a good idea and not many would condone it, including myself. That being said, if you have self control and can really stop at 2 drinks and don't make it a regular habit you should probably be fine. Would probably be a good idea to check your enzyme levels before you consider it though, just to be safe. Are you taking anything for liver protection currently?
 
I'm taking NAC. Haven't drank since last September. I have self control. Just working 70 hour weeks is taking a toll and I'd like a drink to relax
 
I got drunk three times in the beginning of my cyp only cycle. (500mg/wk) I was not too concerned with liver values because i was not using tren or any orals. However alcohol made me bloat like a fish for a couple days and i felt like it raised my bp. I decided to grow up and stop drinking and focus on gainzzz. Never looked back and still don't drink at all. The problem with only having a few drinks is ACTUALLY only having a few drinks. If you have self control then i say have a couple...
 
lol its was baddd. It's hard to tell how one will react to alcohol but I bloat easily and it was from SEVERAL drinks. Irresponsible i know....but i've learned. Now just gotta figure out how to control my sodium intake better lol
 
Yeah it kinda sux. The best time 2 hit the bar and pick up girls is when ur all pumped up on a cycle! But it's tough going 2 bar and drinking water!:beertoast
 
Its probably a terrible idea but I do it often. It dehydrates your body, and you lose strength, try working out with a hangover. No bueno. Im running only test e, no orals and im taking milk thistle and lots of water. But i think 1 or two is fine, you wouldnt notice any issues.
 
I had a couple drinks a couple weeks into my cycle socially and the next day i felt like dog shit. I only had maybe 3 or 4 drinks but felt like i had 13 or 14 judging by the hangover. Coming from the beer capitol of the states this was abnormal for me. Havent had a drink since and dont plan on having another.
 
Had 3 drinks. Drank a lot of water before bed. Woke up this morning and killed shoulder workout

It was explained to me like this....it's it something that is going to help you to achieve your goals or will it push you further away? Even if it's a tiny negative push, you're still going in the red and I want as much green as I can get.

For the dude using milk thistle...drop it and get some NAC. M.T. is a waste of time and money. Just read the studies on NAC and if you aren't convinced....well, then you're mentally handicapped.

I used to use MT on cycle but after I read more and more studies, reviews, etc... I quit using it, on cycle. I still believe it to be a good natural compound for your liver but not while running AAS. Off cycle sure, on cycle get something stronger.
 
We all put way to much time , money and effort to build the bodies we want. Is drinking that important to you to slow up progress or worste case senecio damage your liver ?
