Some help needed please a noob

Hey all new member checkin in.

A little about me. I'm 37, 6' and about 210 now. I used to be in pretty good shape but in 2014 I was in a motorcycle accident and ended up having back surgery. Everyday life was bad enough. There was absolutely no way I could work out.

I'm looking to get back into shape and start a cycle. I've done a few cycles in the past but now looking back I don't ever think I had the right stuff or amounts. I always just trusted who I got them from to tell me what and how much to take. I would get decent results but not what I think I should have got.

Anyways I want to make sure I do this right this time.

I'm not really looking to get really big. I would like to gain a little bit of size but more lean not water retention deka big.

I was thinking of a test cyp/winny cycle but again I'm not sure.

Also how long can I stay on test for? And help would be great.

hi there man, what is your bf% at? and never just trust some guy who sells you gear as all they want to do is make as much money off of you as they can, the hottest places in hell are reserved for them. are you planning on taking hcg as well? why winny?

You started off on the right by sharing your stats right out of the box. Something's we need before we can help. However you left out your BF%

Listen first cycle in a long time,yes.So keep it Simple... a must I don't care what you goal at this juncture.

It is you diet and the use of an AI that will determine how n what you want.Bulk or cut. You can gain MM and stay lean, but gotta keep diet and E2 in check.

Read the sticks thread back where you came to post your thread.

If not knowledged in Estrogen, prolactin and Progesterone learn. Also the use of an Ai

Thank you guys for the replies. I always forget something. Bf is 20% right now. I know it's high but I seriously wasn't able to do much for a while and to be perfectly honest I was eating like crap.

I know diet is super important. On one cycle I ate like crap and got big but was really fat. Never did that again.

I tried reading the stickies before I posted but I have a.d.d. I space off when something is really long.

As far as winny I didn't ask for it my guy said it was good for cutting and if I took glucosamine my joints should be ok and drink a lot of water.
I'm terrified of it because of my injury.

Not to sound stupid but what is ai?

Is the test cyp ok to do all alone? Would I do 500mg a week the whole 16 weeks? Sorry for all the questions. I'll even pay someone for their time if you can set me up with what I need to take. Not meaning get me stuff just if you tell me what to get and how much to take. Want to do this right.

My injury does limit me that's why I wanted to get on gear. In 02 I broke my leg and ankle and had a good amount of pain for a while after. Only time it didn't hurt was when I was on gear.

I would take it easy now when I start of course.

Here are some answers:

AI = aromatase inhibitor. Arimidex or Exemestane (aromasin) typically. You take this on cycle to prevent getting high estrogen. At 500 mg/wk test you could try 0.25 mg EOD Adex or 12.5 mg/day aromasin. Those are just starting points, after 7-8 weeks on test cyp you'd get a blood test to see if you need more or less.

Yes ok to just take test cyp 12-16 weeks, along with the AI, and along with HCG at 500 IU/wk

Diet - once you get past working out vs. not working out diet quickly becomes #1 in importance

Winstrol - leave this for a later date. Get your body fat % down on this cycle and you can always try it later on

PCT - get both clomid & nolvadex. After last test cyp shot wait 3 weeks. During these 3 weeks keep taking the AI, then stop it. In the final week take 1000 IU HCG per day, then stop it. Week four start the nolva and clomid and run 4-6 weeks.

Ah I feel you mate I was in the same position be careful take it easy its been over 5 years since my crash and I still can't really hit legs walking cycling swimming ect just do what you can
Stick with the test i also use a lot of mk 677 growth hormone secro so you get all the good healing benefits there too maybe look into that also

Thanks blakey. I had a SI fusion done. I don't think I will be able to hit legs. I can walk and swim with some pain. But I would be scared adding weights and certain exercises might re injure that joint.

Dr also said my L4 and L5 need to be fused but I just can't go through another surgery. I'm hoping getting back in shape and getting strength I feel better.

I was thinking about hgh but it's kinda pricey. I might look into trying to save money on other things and spend on that instead.

Welcome man. Since you're in the 20% body fat range I would recommend getting the diet in check to drop BF and get used to your diet before starting a cycle, because as you've noted above, eating like crap on gear is just going to add a lot of unwanted weight...and I'd venture to guess that you don't want a bunch of extra weight to lug around with your past injury and the condition of your legs.

Definitely do NOT take winstrol as noted above.

Have you had blood work done to check your hormone levels?
 
OP listen I have L2- L5 protruding with L5 a bit herniated. SO I don't bend over and pick up the 45 lb plates at all. Other when loading the sled for legs. When doing anything else I can get by with quarters 25lbs . So depending on how much you lift, you can load more then you think hence saving your back aa bit.

Bring that BF% down with diet. Winstrol will not burn fat tissue. You burn it with some form of aerobics and training faster while keeping your muscles under tension. Time under tension !

Thanks brother. And man sounds like your injury was worse then mine. I walked same day as surgery with pain of course. Hardest part for me was the pain pills. Couldn't stand them but kinda needed them. Luckily I haven't taken any for a good amount of time now and don't plan on it. Dealing with the pain sucks some days though.

Appreciate the advice sir. Last time I did blood work and hormone level check was about 2 years ago. I'm about to go get it done again before I start anything.

hows your diet going, have you been able to bring down that bf%? once your ready Test with hcg cycle my friend, do it right and proper and your body and health will thank you for it in the long run.

Hey I have cleaned up my diet. I don't measure anything like I did before. Honestly that wore me out with a diet like that. But no junk food at all. Only been drinking water and a lot of it. And portion size is smaller then before also. I eat small meals 4 times a day. And only good stuff. Honestly I don't even miss the junk. I bought a coke the other day took one sip and threw it out. Tasted nasty. I got with the doc and started my trt program. Test c and hcg. Hasn't been a week yet.

I've lost 4lbs and bf is down to 18% now.


Had got my blood work done and my test was low. I knew something was wrong for a while. Honestly it's my fault.

When I was 18-19 I wanted to get gear. My sisters fiancée at the time was a big guy that was on gear. I asked him to get me stuff and even begged him. He told me no and just take creatine. He didn't explain why. So me being dumb and back then internet wasn't like it is today, I went and got stuff and didn't do them right nor at the right time in my life age wise.

For all the young guys thinking about getting on gear, listen to the people that tell you your body isn't ready yet. They aren't trying to hurt you only help.

I really wish I would have listened.

I would cut Bf% down to 15%. Get your bloodwork done first, and make sure your PCT and AI's are on deck, wouldn't be a bad idea if your prone/sensitive to gyno, to have some Letro on hand just in case
