I am about to start the DC style training program and have heard great things about it, the question I have is what exactly is the "rest pause" training? This may be a dumb question but if anyone could explain this one to me it would be greatly appreciated.
During a rest pause set, you go to complete failure, rack the weight. Take 10-15 deep breaths, and do as many more reps as you can until failure. Then repeat a 3rd time.
(1) DC won't train just anyone, you have to pass his questionaire beforehe will help you out.
(2) DC wants people who have been training for several years and exhausted any other means of making gains. - If you are a beginner, DC isn't for you.
(3) Last time I asked, the going rate was $500 for 2 months with DC. In that time he will teach you everything you need to know about his program (training, DIET, supplements, etc). After those 2 months, you'll have a good understanding how the program works and if you wish to continue to work with him 1-on-1 he asks for a $20 donation per month. IMO it is all money well spent.
(4) He is also looking for people who will listen and follow the program to a T.
Thanks for the info Easto! I seem to fit into all his requirments for training its to bad he is not taking anyone new, but I will send him an email and see if I can be put on a list of some sort....thanks again.
