some questions about meet equipment.

im signing up for my first contest. March 26-06. ill be buying my equipment soon but have a few q's.
1. whats the purpose of a singlet? its a mandatory piece.
2. can a squat suit be used as a DL suit and vice/versa?
3.whats a better shirt? Inzer HD blast, or titan F6.? (must be single ply) i bench with a mild arch so i was leaning toward the F6.

not sure on te purpose of a singlet but you need to have it on when you bench shirt inside singlet belt on te outside

of course you can wear a squat suit to pull in-or if you go raw youll need te singlet again

best shirt-not real sure my opinion is that the only inzer shirts really worth anything are te DD so ut of those 2 i would lean towards te Titan

You will need a singlet to bench and pull if you don't wear a deadlift suit. If you want good equipment without a huge learning curve, i know Titan Centurion is a great squat suit from the feedback i have heard. You can wear briefs under it if you are lifting in a fed that allows it. I wear a two ply F6 right now, i think it is a better shirt than the inzer rage x, at least for me. I get more support through the lift and i dont get bunched up at the bottom. I have a single F6 but i have only used it once, it is a great shirt a bit cheaper than the inzer and has a much much better warranty. You can also wear a centurion to pull, actually a lot of people say centurions are great to pull in if you wear them backwards, no joke.

also, are there any differences among the singlets or are they basically all the same?

other than sizing no they are all te same so i would search for the cheapest one...

i bought a metal one from efs for 32 bucks
check house of pain wear and i guess you can also do a seacrh for wrestling singlets since they are the same thing
