Sore elbows

Need some help here lads.
Been doing Db press flat and incline for months now, as hit a plateau with bench, plus is aggrivated my shoulders. Last week, thought I'd give the bench another try and did 3 sets on flat and incline and my elbows killed me, any advice, want to build my chest up, as its the only lagging part of my body.

Lighten up on your grip, this was my problem until I loosened my grip on the bar--once my tendonitis healed my bench press shot up drastically and no more pain.

cheers for the advice lads, my routine is as follows 3 sets of warm ups-bo, 3 sets of bo, 3 sets inc bp, 2 sets of cypbex press-thats chest. Was doing the same but with db's, but hit a pateau, but had no probs with elbows!

Anybody else notice that the title and contents of this thread have NOTHING to do with one another?

What I'm trying to explain is that when doing movements for chest my elbow get sore-hence a lagging body part, i have pointed out the movements and reasons behind these. So I see that it has everything to do with the title of this thread.

wear a long sleeve sweater throughout the workout; warmup accordingly.

-Apply icy hot at night
-take glucosomine \msm
