Degas was recently diganosed with spondylitis. The vet says it was caused by a bacterial infection he got when we tried a raw food diet. It started with a gut infection and eventually moved into his spine (he was septic at the time). Degas can no longer jump onto or off of furniture. The spondylitis is relatively low-grade, but I still want to know what treatments I can pursue to help Degas live a better life. I feel really bad for this happening and feel like it is my fault.
