happy new year my friends..
i am 44 years old , was delaying trt from some time now , i guess i had enough ,and i decided that 2017 would be the year that i d jump to the trt wagon ..
my test was at 280 ... and i went through some threads here and there , including megatron's ..
my protocol will be :
1- 120 mgs test e weekly.. the logic says that it should be administered twice due to test enan half life , but i saw that some of u guys feel better on a 1 injection / week .. what do u think ?
2- hcg .. no clue about the dosage .. 250*2 / week ? or may be thats too high ?
3- i aromtaze a lot .. was thinking of 0.5 mg aramidex twice a week ... blood test in 2 weeks , then re evaluate .. is that dose ok as a starter ?
4- depending on the study posted in megatron's sticky : 125 mg test would result in 570 ng-dl (total test)... isnt this too low ??

i ll be adding DHEA and Pregnenolone... no questions here

will you please comment ?
thnx in advance

Are you being treated by a doctor or going it alone?

Self medicating .. All alone myself .. Where I live , I won't go to an endo , I guess most of them dunno what trt is , I can get Pharma grade test from any pharmacy , and can get blood tests at relative cheap prices ... The only problem here is that there is no sensitive estradiol test , only the usual one

The usual , tired all the time , foggy mind ... I noticed that it's easier to gain fat and lose muscle although diet on spot .. Libido is down , u name it I have it

these things normally start with middle age (44 in your case), why jump the gun so fast and get on trt? a million things can cause what you have now. whats your diet, lifestyle like?

I'm on low cab diet , it's been a while , I know that dieting seriously could cause some hormonal problems , I just think that the main issue you could have not noticed my friend is my TT Number .. I'm tracking my Total T And my numbers aren't impressive ., believe me friend , I didn't choose to trt the easy way , I fought for years .. What do you think ?

I'd say that dose twice a week is the starting point. Then retest in 4-8 weeks. I'd prefer to see you under the care of your Doctor not an endo.

Much appreciate ur input , DPR .. Problem is , I'm not in the US , Doctors here are so good , but not in the HRT field .. What do u think of hcg dosage ?

Get script, your 44 getting caught up self-diagnosing isn't worth it.

Edit: Just saw you are not in the states. Good luck man hope it works out well, I am aware about the doctors overseas and can see why you are doing what you are doing, although I can't recommend it :)

I think 250IU HCG dosages are a waste of time. 500IU twice per week would be the starting point for me.

do u prescribe 500 iu twice a week to ur clients all year around? any side effects for such dosage on the long term ?
or may be u blast hcg every now and then ?

My doc has me on 240mg (.6 ml- 200mg per ml) twice a week. Everything has been great till my E2 got outa wack! I had to basically figure that one out on my own (& was successful thanks to this website).
E2 management has been my hardest problem since getting on the TRT wagon.
All I can say is you better find a blood testing source to be able to keep an eye on yours till you get it dialed in with your test dose. AND once you get it dialed in, don't screw with it.
Oh, and watch out for your hematocrit to raise, & buy a bottle of liquid CIA from RUI for if or when the E2 sneaks up on you (helps with blood pressure & who doesn't like this stuff anyway?)

Just sharing my (tiny bit) experience so hopefully someone else can benefit.
Good luck!

Year round with maybe a month break every 6 months IF you want to.

No side effects we have seen in 7 years.

We have guys that have been on TRT for 20+ years.
