Steroids for injury prevention/maintenance

Noob here, please don't crucify me :) I've seen some other threads on this topic but as I said, I'm a green horn and trying to figure out a whole lotta shit here at the same time.

I'm 32 and am feeling it. Significant tendon/muscle pain in my shoulders, neck, lower back and just getting over a pulled groin. I work out in a crossfit gym and focus mainly on the lifts, (deadlift/squat/bench and squat cleans). I feel stronger than I did at 22 but I'm always hesitant to go 100% because I end up fucking myself up somehow. So I'm trying to fix the problem.

I'm not opposed to going to the dark side, but I want to get as much input as possible before I do. I'm not trying to out lift Louie Simmons, but having my lifts go up a little wouldn't be the worst thing in the world... my main focus though is I want to feel strong and confident again.

this is the post that really got me thinking about it
(he's basically advocating nandralones in smaller doses for healing soft tissue)

You cant take deca without test, or you will rue the day. TB500 is a great deal better regarding injury healing.

and if you go to the "dark side" deca is great but as stated needs to be run with test. it's always best to start off with a single compound first. start with test. read the stickies about AI's too ;) great info here.
