Stopping acne on HRT???

So I'm not even on test, only hcg and armi, and I've only been on it a week, but I've started to break out pretty badly, but only on my face. If I'm breaking out because my test is going up that's cool and I can deal with it, but is there anything I can do to combat it other than washing? I had some acne on my face previously, just seem to be aggravated now...

My old workout partner gets horrible androgen-induced acne when he cycles. It was so bad last summer, I actually called a friend of my who is a dermatologist and she looked at him pro bono b/c he was in school and had no medical insurance.

She prescribed him 1% topical clindamycin solution and recommended a 10% benzyl peroxide foaming wash both used once a day.

His acne cleared right up in about 5 weeks - while he was still running a large amount of test.

Since then, he actually started using the clindamycin prior to his current cycle and he has not had any issues with acne.

The best part, the clindamycin is cheap from what he said. I forget what he told me but that was a big deal for him as he is a broke student.

It seems that a lot of non-dermatologist don't know about clindamycin topical so you may need to get with a dermatologist.

Also, he was using this on his back only. He never seemed to have any acne on his face. So, I don't know if it has a drying effect on the skin that would be bothersome if used on the face.

I know how you feel. I have been on TRT for 2 years and still have acne on back shoulders and arms despite trying just about everything. The HCG seemed to really make it worse for me. So I stopped using it and have had no adverse effects (balls haven't shrunk, still feel good after several months). I have read in other posts that HCG has that effect on some people. I have been hoping I wouldn't have to go to the dermatologist, but I might give up and try what Cashout suggested. For me Nizoral as a bodywash, more frequent showers, some tanning and no HCG keeps the acne minimal.
