The Stripper from Hell
stretch marks

Okay all the ladies in the house... How do we get rid of strech marks? I have thought about laser they say that it works, but what can we put on our skin to help get rid of them or make them less noticable? Anyone have ideas please chime in thanks....

There aren't any good solutions. One of the few things that can help is tretinoin (Retin-A) cream. There is actually some study data (using the strongest one available: 0.1%) that shows a improvement in the stretch marks, but it isn't anything like a 50% improvement.

PS Sorry, I can't help but ask. Are you really a stripper? I've only been to a few strip bars in Canada many years ago, but I have to admit there were some very beautiful women. That and the girl next door (well, down the block) that I was in love with as a teenager became a stripper. Er...I'm sorry, what were we talking about?

Oh yeah. Welcome to the board!

mranak...I am a stripper from HELL... Thanks for the input I think that I will try Retin-A I have also heard that it does help. Been lifting a little too heavy or dancing a little to hard. Whats up with your shoulder? Thanks for the welcome I am going to look at your threads to see what other questions I can ask you...okay.

Sounds like you are a pretty amazing woman.

The biggest problem about the Retin-A is that Retin-A is prescription only and pretty expensive.

Wish I knew what was up with the shoulder. Maybe I was training it a bit to hard and now it hurts to put any weight on it. Very frustrating. It seems to be getting better, but I'm an impatient guy I guess and having a hard time avoiding using it to lift when I know I need to wait until it is really healed.

See you around.

mranak...I am that impatient as well, I can get a script for retin-a but I guess I will have to see how expensive it is. Hope your shoulder gets better. Thanks fro the reply...

Prevention is easier than repair. Load up with cocoa butter every day in the areas your skin is being stretched. Also, take vit. E and drink pleanty of water. You can also apply vit. E oil to new stretch marks to help them heal faster and scar less.

Mederma is an OTC cream that helps lighten stretch marks and scars. Give it a shot.

Careful using retin A. It can severely irritate your skin and turn it very red creating a severe burning sensation. I had to use it for acne on my stomach, ass and thighs when I was younger.

Retin A will do very little for your stretch marks - I use to recommend it like some of the individuals above, however after much research and documentation of clients it is not worth it.

Prevention is the way to go- As for the laser i am unsure how effective that would be.

What up sexy lady? To improve and repair those strech mark's use STRIVECTIN. I'am pretty sure you can buy it at GNC. It is made by Klein and Becker but might cost an arm and a leg but this shit really work;s. I used tosell it to ladies for prenatal or post preg. and even arter dieting down.

I agree. My cousin lost over 100lbs and used this product and it really helped a lot. The stretch marks got a lot lighter. Some even disappeared! Good product IMO. :)

That is true, and in fact, my stomach skin burned like hell a few minutes ago when I used some isopropyl alcohol on it a few minutes ago prior to doing my sub-q injection. Kind of odd really...I've been using the Retin-A for months, but I was a bit slack on it this past week (traveling) and at the same time the skin started burning. Think I'll need to lay off the Retin-A for a while.

GunFreak...I am starting my venture with strivec as was recommended...I think dancing a little tooooooo hard has really done it to me this time,,or it could be the 315 I squat the other day...hahahahaha anyway I will let you know what happens they say give it 3 weeks...
