CONCLUSION:
Therapy with weekly subcutaneous testosterone produced serum levels that were within the normal range in 100% of patients for both peak and trough levels. This is the first report, which demonstrated the efficacy of delivering weekly testosterone using this cheap, safe, and less painful subcutaneous route.

I don't know if this was posted here yet. Just another option for guys pinning T.

In my experience subcutaneous is not less painful. I feel no pain with intramuscular and the PIP was only the first 5-6 times.

With subcutaneous in belly fat the injection is very painful and not worth it.

p.s. This is a 8-9 year old study that has been posted many times.

I'm hesitant to try subq injections. I get a lump when injecting liquid, like hcg, or a peptide. It goes away in a bit, but leaves the area a bit tender. I can't imagine the lump from oil, and how long it will hang around, and/or how tender it will be. IM injection is absolutely painless with no PIP at ALL. I mean I can't feel the needle go in most of the time. Every now and then I feel the piercing of the skin just a little, the muscle never. There is zero discomfort in the muscle at all ever.

I misread it and thought it said "sublingual" and thought "wow, they finally have a dissolving pill that works!!!!" I know it cannot, but still was hopeful.

I have tried both IM and SQ and found I just prefer IM. Of course, I am using a 27g 1/2in needle now (just increased it from 28g to help the fluid move faster).

I prefer IM, but I poke the wife subq in the rear so she can't see it. It's all a matter of preference and overall volume of oil being injected.

In before poking wife in the rear jokes. :p
