Suggestions for a cycle after shoulder surgery recovery

I recently had a long overdue shoulder surgery(torn labrum)due to many dislocations over the years. The doctor said it would be 4-6 months before I could do any serious lifting again. I know that this will be devastating to all of my recent gains and low bf%. I'm doing as much as I can to preserve muscle mass and keep my bf% down but there's only so much I can do other than light cardio and keeping my diet in check. Has anyone had a similar experience with this who can give me some tips for keeping in shape during my recovery? I'm also planning on running a cycle after I recover so I can bounce back fast and get back in shape for summer. I have some test p and anavar on hand but I'm gonna mostly want it to be a recomp cycle and I'm not sure if test p and var would be the best choice, as I suspect my bf will be a bit high. I've had great results with it in the past but I got mostly mass gains with it. Any suggestions for a good cycle after my recovery?

I tore both my labrums and subscaularis took me over a year to rehab before I started lifting (felt around 90% better when I started). At first still a little pain when I lifted and then finally I got to a point where I thought I could jump back on AAS. Did a deca and test cycle and and now my right shoulder feels awesome but my left shoulder is still giving me some problems. What I guess I am trying to say is do I think it helped me, Yes!! But I wouldn't touch anything if I was you until youre like around 90% better as it can mask some of ur symptoms and pain and you may do more damage to it

Wow, a year is a long recovery. I'm glad to hear you healed up well though. It's reassuring to know that you can get back into lifting after the types of surgeries we had. So being a body builder, I'm assuming you did as much as you could to try and minimize muscle loss and fat gain during your recovery. Do you have any tips for me? Like certain supplements or diet plans? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was 215 with about 11% BF when I injured myself. I dropped down to 180lbs couldn't work out my upper body or back so I stuck with abs and had my girl put the plates on for leg extension and curls couldn't really do squats and hold the bar on my traps because of the position of my shoulders (couldn't even wipe my ass without being in pain). Did a shit load of cardio so I was shredded. Sorry to say there's nothing you can do you're going to lose size. Did my test and deca cycle and now im 205lbs 15% bf at 5ft 10in. slowly but surely im getting back, its very frustrating but I keep telling myself Rome wasn't built in a day
