My wife is 5'7'' about 150. She is looking to join the gym and asked me if there is anything she can take to lose weight and tone up. Is there anything that you gals(guys) suggest she take? What would be a good diet for her? She weighed about 105 when we got together about 6 years ago. Two kids later about 150. Thanks.

What does her diet look like now?

How old is she?

If she hasnt even started working out yet then NO there is nothing she can take. Try a cup of coffee before she goes to work out maybe.

I'd get her to take a circuit weight class with you an then a spinning class. 30 minutes of cardio every day to start and then increase it.

South beach diet isn't to hard to adjust to. Atkins works too but is harder to maintain. Cut out the juice and soda. If you can get her to commit to it by week 3 she will have a bit more energy.

You have to post her current diet and training. Nothing is going to help her except for good ol exercise and diet.

She Works 3 days a week 12 hour days and the rest of the time she is a mom of 4. She eats about twice a day. Nothing big. I don't think she takes in even 2k calories a day. Some days she only eats one meal a day. She does not do the sweets and drinks water and sometimes pepsi max. She tries to have a serving of fruit once a day. She currently does not take a vitiman. I think she should eat atleast 3 times a day. She currently does not exercise but wants to join the gym I go to. She needs a beginners workout that she can gradually ratchet up. She also need something for energy. I was wondering if there is any steroid or supplement that she could take that she could see results in a few weeks, just to keep her interested and maybe that would make her want to go. Thanks.

There is absolutely no steroid or supplement that will give her any type of results with her lifestyle. Tell her she needs to eat more than 2 meals. 4 at least and tell her to carry a tupperware container of assorted veggies with her everywhere...so she can nibble.

She is so far off from living a healthy lifestyle we need to start very general. Get her eating the 4 meals per day first and see if she sticks with it. She will have to learn to prepare her food in advance and eat on the go if she's busy. This will keep her metabolism working. This is where I would start.
