Summer Cycle for a old guy

5'9 170 lean with some abs fat but not much, blood work back and for the 1st time in my life my number are off, are these really high and bad so here they are


test total LC, MS, MS 187 - LOW

cholest total 246
hdl 31
ldl 173
triglycesides 173

With my low test level can I do 10 weeks of sust 500 weekly, I am 48 yrs, never had a cholest problem this is the first time bc I hurt my back, but I wanted to get back into it.

Hi and welcome. I'm 62 man so you can do a lot at 48. Wish I was 48.
You need to post more stats. we will need to know more history about years training. However if you can post up all your labs they can help you more.

Did my first cycle at 45 and nearing the end of my 3rd at 46. It has been a mostly positive experience for me.
Your T is definitely low and may make you a candidate for TRT. Depending on your training history and goals, you may want to opt for that rather than a full-on cycle.
Again, as the old muscle Mike says, need more info.
 
50 yo here, I think you should address your lipids before doing a cycle as they are not good and likely to get worse. Yes T is low but a TRT dose would be safer and might give you good results starting from such a low baseline.
Personally, I got dramatic results from 200mg/week when I started TRT.
 
Guys I have been working out for about 4 yrs and did some cycles before at high does around 1100mgs a week, all my blood work is fine except for what I said in this post and I know I can get that choles down buy dieting and doing cardio, I just wanted to do 500mg of test a week for 10 weeks, I am doing cardio 4 days a week for 1 hr and hit the weight 5 days week doing one body part a day, I am pretty lean and in shape......so what do you think about this 10week cycle.
