Syringe contamination...

I drew 1ml of test e from an amp into two separate 21g 3ml syringes and switched the pins to 23g afterwards. Was planning to take one tonight and another in 4 days. While aspirating there was some blood -- so I withdrew the needle and took off the 23g pin and replaced it with the original 21g that I drew with and put it to the side. I used the second loaded dart to complete the injection. Now my concern is, I still have the original syringe of test from the botched injection that wasnt used because I aspirated, there was blood and didnt have another 23g pin on hand. The syringe of test wouldnt be used for 4 more days. Will it become contaminated because it was exposed to blood for a second? There is no noticeable trace of blood in the syringe at the moment. Should I junk it to be safe?

Was getting a little bit chaotic with blood dripping down my leg and what not and trying to fidget with syringes so I just did what was easiest at the time.

I would trash it 1 ml of test is not worth the risk of infection.

Don't do this. First of all, I hope you know to wash your hands and use alcohol wipes on everything. I also hope you know to never set down the syringe or needle if you plan on using it.

Once you take the syringe out of the wrapper, you must use it. If you set it aside it is no longer sterile.

Same with needle, If you open a needle from the wrapper then set it on surface, it is no longer sterile.

I recommend watching some youtube videos on how to properly perform injections.
