T3 Side effects??

NYCEE

Brewing.....
Ive taken the time released T3 (Triyotex) before with success, up to 150mcg/day.. This time i was taking Berlin Chemie, 50mcg pills. I started with 1 a day in the morning, for 3 days, then i went to 2 pills a day split and sides got bad after only a day or two at 100mcg. I was getting anxiety, bad shortness of breath, headaches (felt like pressure in my head), eyes felt strained, nausea, and heart palpitations. Blood pressure was slightly high, but only in the pre-hypertension range and im running 700mg of test a week. I took one pill yesterday morning, and i figured it might be causing the problem, so that was the last one i took. I woke up this morning, still feeling a bit off, but as the day went on i feel much better, almost completely normal now, just slight head pressure. I was wondering if anyone has experienced it before. I was thinking about trying 25mcg/day which is 1/2 a pill if i feel better, but this whole episode scared me a bit. I dont scare easy, only other scare ive gotten like this was going hypo from taking slin while i was sick. Sorry for the long post, just looking for input. Thanks

After some reading i came across this:
"if the dose is increased too quickly at the beginning of the treatment, can cause the following clinical symptoms for a thyroid hyperfunction): heart palpitation, trembling, irregular heartbeat, heart oppression, agita*tion, shortness of breath, excretion of sugar through the urine, ex*cessive perspiration, diarrhea, weight loss, psychic disorders, etc., as well as symptoms of hypersensitivity." Our experience is that most symptoms consist of trembling of hands, nausea, headaches, high perspiration, and increased heartbeat."

Maybe i increased the dose too soon, also maybe i should have started with 25mcg a day as opposed to 50.

My father has suffered from hyperthyroidism and one of the biggest issues he's had from it is atrial fibrillation.

I had palpitations both times i used T3, but they were much more severe this time. It can be quite scary.

Hyperthyroidism from T3 usage

My father has suffered from hyperthyroidism and one of the biggest issues he's had from it is atrial fibrillation.

This can be quiet scary. I recently ended up in the hospital and being shocked back into normal sinus rhytm because my t3 usage had put me into A-fib. btw, i was on only 50mcg daily and a very fit 29 year old male. so this can happen to anyone. be careful.
