Talking with your doc about AAS

Background: I am 29, 5'8" 180 lbs with very little body fat. I had a full body scan, blood work, stress test, echo cardiogram, and everything is perfect.

I've lifted for 6 years with a few breaks here and there for rest and my diet is in check.

I am going to see my doc on Monday to express my desire to start a 10 week/500 mg week cycle of Test E with .5 adex EOD and a full proper PCT with Clomid and Nolva.

My question is does anyone else tell there doc their plans and ask for a blood tests/ check up every other week to be sure health is perfect while on cycle?

My guess is if you don't want it on your medical records you should probably not tell him.. Could come back to bite you. Insurance and shit? I could be wrong.. But I wouldnt

Correct. If you are ever out of work and need to purchase insurance on your own, you risk the chance of being denied. They can't deny you coverage if it is provided through your employer; however, in this economy, nothing is guaranteed.

A "friend" can't get coverage due to her implants and prior psychiatric medication prescribed for depression and anxiety. She is self-employed so she doesn't have insurance through an employer.

I did and when I was low my doc would right me a prescription for a month worth of cyp that he know that would last me a week. And they can't got though ur records at least here and if the doc knows his stuff and diagnose u with low test its all good. And I must say that u will get a lot farther with ur doctor if ur honest but he has to be cool.

Do not tell your doc. There is no reason for it. Maybe other countries but not the U S. It can effect health and life insurance. Besides, you said he already did all the labs for you, just ask him to do the same when you are done or order your own labs online.

It's in your medical records, accessible by your insurance company, where the problem would occur if you had one

GUNSHOW spot on im in the us and I told my doc that I have used steroids for 10 years plus and he hook me right up and this was years ago and nothing has ever came up when I took om a new insurance company.. U know ir doc best and if he's cool then its ok and he will even watch ir health though ur cycle.

normaly, the doc can not debate about what you say to him. it's the law.

i had the describe all the gear i ran the last ten past year to many docs these last times. i got no problem at all. plus, all of them told me than steroids are 100 times less dangerous than smoking or drinking alcohol for ten years.

What about doctor/patient confidentiality?

You nailed it on the head here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guy facts You do not want your insurance company privy to this information period.

Here in the states we have Doctor/Patient confidentiality!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will often question my docs my GP and my Endo on things I have questions about.

Heres my aproach. Once I'm done with what ever reason I may be there. I start with the phrase. Now OFF THE RECORD! followed by my question. My typical reply I get is I'm not writing any thing LOL.

There are serious consiquences a DR can face for violating Doctor/Patient Confidentiality. So quite honestly I have no problem asking questions I want answers to.

Doctor/Patient Confidentiality law or privilege can vary state to state. No federal laws for this exist.

At best, openly discussing illegal drug use (including steroids) will strain a doctor/patient relationship.

Not if you have a good doctor! Remember your there boss there not yours!

But a very good point can you validate there is no Fedral statute? Honestly I haden't thought about that and would also be surprised if there weren't. LMFAO I will call and find out. My cousing is a doctor. be back in a minute if I can contact him.

I would also like to point out the last line of my signature!

Call made voice mail imagine that from a doctor and it's my own damn family! LOL he's an ER doc so odds are he's saving some ones life! I think this is a priority don't you?

Went to the docs today and i asked what his opinion was on someone like me (very healthy and fit) to do a proper 10 week cycle of test e. He said he didnt recommend it because of long term problems like prostate enlargement. I dont think he knew what he was talking about :-/
