TB500 dose for a female?????

Looking for advice for my mother, long story short she has basically no cartilage left on the joints of her thumbs and it causes her constant pain to the point where she's having trouble driving now. She's been to a lot of docs who are pretty useless and does have a specialist appointment in February. But I was thinking about putting her on TB500 over the Christmas holidays when I come home and can monitor her and help her with the injections.
The problem I'm having is that I have been hard pressed to find any logs or info on dosing protocols for women. There was an unfinished log on ology, but the lady was having nasty headaches from the TB500.

I was thinking of trying her on 2mg a week for 3 weeks, then 2mg a month for 3 months. How does that sound?

Anyone got any ideas on female dosing protocols or can direct me to any studies that could help?

since its not a male vs. female hormone but plays a big part in both, I would day dosing for men and women would be about the same IMO

I don't know if TB will help her. It's not a miracle substance that can miraculously regrow cartilage. It sounds like your mother suffers from some type of joint disease. I would not put her on TB if it were my mother. I would, however, try MSM at 3000mg a day for a week and drop it down to 1000mg a day after that and see if she has any relief. MSM works within a few days and is an amazing, cheap supplement. I would also look at DMSO gel (70%) to rub on the thumbs and see if that gives relief. The only other thing I can think of is to try and find a good ortho doctor who specializes in sports medicine and does injections of hyaluronic acid. It is a gel that is injected a few times year in joints to replace the wear and tear over the years. I just don't know though if they do it for non load bearing joints such as thumbs. It wouldn't hurt to ask though. Here is some more info on hyaluronic acid. Good luck !! hyaluronic acid: Uses, Side Effects, Interactions and Warnings - WebMD

Awesome info mate. I'm of two minds about putting her on it, if it were my own body I wouldn't hesitate. I'll try your suggestions and see how they go.
