Test C vs test E- which is better?

No those 2 are almost identical test prop just kicks in way faster. But in reality test is test only difference is the time release.

i have a training partner i run into every now and then who swears test c is more harsh on the system at high doses. says i can look it up. anyone agree with that claim ?

No it doesn't. Test E, cyp, prop. They're all the same just a different time release. Now if your friend said methyltestosterone is harsher on the system then cyp or prop we would have something to talk about. But I'm assuming he's only referring to injectable test...

When I started trt my Dr put me on test c and said the reason they did that is because it's the closest in similarity to the testt our body produces. More so than test e. Not sure the difference in the effect on gains between the different esters tho if that is your question. I usually blast with test e just to change things up for my receptors. Just something I do.

I don't really get why the need for test c AND e when they are almost identical. Why not get rid of one and there would be no confusion plus cheaper to mass produce the other? Just an idea. I've switched back and fourth between c&e on cycle no difference whatsoever.

EU and other parts of world TestE is main thing used. USA is more cyp. but I do agree.
only reason i go for teste more often than cyp is because its usually 250mg/ml and cyp is usually 200mg/ml and same price so

You are forgetting there is a whole world of medical practice out there and in that there are some reasons for the different esters to be used.
No difference because there is no difference in the hormone then the weight of the ester.

Half life of Test Prop is - 4 days
Half life of Test Cyp is - 8 days
Half life of Test E is - 10.5 days
so there is a difference in the testosterone CARRIER ester , and how long the drug takes to absorb into the body and how long it stays .
Test E absorbs slow and stays in the body for 21 days (3 weeks), test Prop absorbs fast and stays for only a week. Test cyp is right in the middle ground (prob most similar to natty test).
so there is a difference and reason for each one. also , the faster the absorption the more MG for MG dose your going to get out of it . example, 100 mg of test prop should yield a 92% absorption, so 92 total mg. Where test E may only yield 70% absorption , so only 70 mg. theres a reason why test E is dosed at 250mg/ml , cause the absorption is much lower, so you need a higher dose
