Test E Cycle Hiccup at 8 Weeks In

Okay so the short of this post is that a friend is on a wed/sun 500mg/week test e cycle, first ever and about 8 weeks deep. He had great results the first 6 or 7 weeks, felt a profound difference and saw it too so he's confident that the gear worked at some point. He had been pulling from the same vial the whole time, but a defect caused the seal to give recently and the vial is no longer air tight. Possibly by coincidence, he noticed that for the last 3 or 4 pins he doesnt catch the euphoria, gains are currently maintaining but no longer on the upswing, and fat has started piling on. He wants to say the gear is no longer effective, but could exposure to air cause that? Tolerance is another likely suspect, but would it all hit at once like that? As a side note, he just moved over to a fresh vial that's still air tight but he'd prefer not to just saw through it if moving to a new vial wont change anything.

Any insight is greatly appreciated, as well as recommendations depending on what you personally think is going on here.

If I had to guess, I'd suspect e2 crept up on him. Not too late to pull bloods and have a look at that. What kind of AI dosing is he using?

Ai is Arim, and while he's read recommendations to only dose as needed he's been on .5 e4d for insurance and it seems to be doing it's job.

No bloods available yet but easy to procure. You all might've already given him enough to move forward on though - Just to be clear, consensus is that it's too hard to assess the vial itself, the norm and dominant viable option is to stay the course and monitor bloods instead? He was hoping for a way to test the oil pre-pin, but he understands the logic behind relying on bloods. He's just doing his best to wrap his arms around everything up front and wanted to make sure he wasn't missing another option.
