Hey guys, I pinned myself for the first time yesterday (1ml of test cyp 200mg/ml) around 1pm.

As the day went on I started feeling a little fatigued and by 9pm my throat hurt and was dead tired so i hit the hay early.

I woke up with mild flu like symptoms, sore throat, runny nose, chills all that.

Could this be a reaction from the test shot?

Maybe it's just a cold but I felt fine before i injected

or maybe it's just a bad case of vagitus:chomp:

what do you guys think? anyone experience the same?

I happens to quite a few people, no need to be alarmed unless it gets worse or doesn't go away in a few days, you weaken your immune system when you initially start treatment. It will get better over time. Load up on your vitamin C and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.

When I was juicing and competing in bodybuilding 17 years ago, I remember it happened to me pretty regularly at the start of each cycle.

It had been 17 years since my last shot of test when I started my HRT a year ago and it happened to me for the first 2 shots when I started HRT!

Mine was the worst on the day after my shot. I actually ran a low grade fever and had aches.

After the 2nd shot, it never happened again.

So, I would expect that as you acclimate your body to this process, it will become a non-issue - at least I hope for you that holds true!

Thanks guys... I'll keep you posted. I guess it makes sense that introducing a new substance to the body would trigger an immune reaction of some sort.

Make sure you are on a good Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Try not taking the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and see if you get the symptoms. 100mg timed release 5-htp usually cures test flu for me since test lowers serotonin. Also I'm on 30mg armor thyroid a day which is a must in my opinion for every person on the planet.

When I first took a test shot(before Chip), I felt the same way. I have everything so fine tuned now and feel 200%.

Thanks cjw2021, I'm on anastrozol from Chip 1mg the day after my test injection. I started feeling the flu symptoms before I ever took the AI.

Maybe it's just a cold that happened to rear it's ugly head the same day I injected the test.

About the thyroid meds... you recommend that even if your thyroid is healthy? What are the benefits of that dose

Thanks for the insight!

I was getting sick like every week on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) because my serotonin levels are genetically low already. So I take 100mg timed release natrol brand 5-htp once in the morning and evening and all is good. Serotonin signals the immune system cells and is necessary for its functioning. It was like an instant cure for my constant test flu. Some people with already low serotonin levels are more affected by test further lowering serotonin. Then there are some people that can take whatever and still be okay.

ok, so i was wondering what else one could take besides 5-htp?

i suffer from migraines and this stuff causes extreme migraines in my case!!

and i have felt like crap ever since this last shot

lol how much Aromatase inhibitor (AI) have you been taking? That causes headaches in me if I overdo it. Lay off the anti estrogen for a week and see if it goes away would be my advice.

1/2 an aromasin usually mond/wed/fri

so 12.5

It ended up being a reg cold / sinus infection. Everyone at my work is sick and my son caught it so it wasn't from the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) :)
