Test level came back >1500

I am on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) but I have, obviously, been adding to my prescribed amount. Evidently 400mg/week is too much for my body and my blood work came back with the dreaded >1500. My free T was >52.

What do I need to do to get this down to a reasonable level without crashing? Now I have to come up with a good reason when I go visit my doc as to why it is so high.

Drop back down to your prescribed dose and give it a month. You really should do some more research (this site has a section for that) before messing with not only your hormones, but your doctor's trust. Good luck on finding a reason why you were at supraphysiological levels though, you've been caught red-handed, and your doc knows this. :worried:

Remember when Icarus and Daedulus made their wax wings to fly across the ocean. That's you and you flew too close to the sun.

Might want to skip a dose or two to help your levels come down faster.

Reschedule your appointment if you can. Buy yourself more time for your TT to return to normal.

Hmmm, let's think of a few:

1) misread syringe or miscalculated concentration?
2) OTC testosterone booster? 341% or whatever it is.
3) lots of skin contact with partner on gels :-)
