I keep reading post where guys have a test level between 400 and 500ng, and the replies are that your levels are fine?

I don't understand Labcorp new reference range is 348 - 1197ng.

Would you not be considered to be on the lower end of test if you are under 500ng?

What you are saying is true but they consider it the lower end of "normal" 348-1197 are considered the normal ranges.

I start to feel good over 800. At 400-500 my sex drive is low, as in craving action maybe 1x per week. 800 and up every other day and levels on cycle 2k+ I'm like a dog humping a leg on a chair.

Nobody can say your level is fine between 400-500 but you! Do you have symptoms of Low-t or not? If so do your research and make a educated decision.

I know for me 400 is too low.

tnemo...... Its all about treating the symptoms, not the number. Numbers can be good markers to help gauge why you may or may not be feeling a certain way, but, as we all know, everyone is different. One guy may "feel" great at 650, while another guy might be in the bowels of hell at 650. It all depends on the individual. Thats why we make it such a strong point, at maximus Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), to really get a good feel for how our clients are "feeling" and what their personal/mental/emotional/family goals are, so that we can address therapy accordingly.

Thanks Chip, I was really just trying to understand why I see all these guys with below 500ng asking for help and people are telling them there level are fine, I would say they are on the lower end and if they have symptoms to seek additional support.

This. --/\-- one guy might be fine at 500-600 another might not. It depends on symptoms, if you have healthy sexual function, energy levels, focus etc etc at 500-600 chances are you don't need HRT. In my early 20s I was tested and total t was mid 500, I had great sexual function etc no way I would have needed testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at that point in my life. Everyone's different.
