Test prop shot complication

quick update:
leg was sore in the morning, bum was sore after yesterdays jab, but as soon as i got out of bed, leg stopped hurting at all, just cannot achieve full range of motion, but it feels better. The redness increased but since there is no pain, i dont think its serious, but obv will call 911 if i start to get signs of fever or temp increase. i think the more i moved my leg, oil or w/e just spread around my leg more equally. the back of my knee tingles which is weird, so i am laying with a heat pad on. Taken ibuprofen as well, dude in pharmacy said it should help me with test prop shots.
basically, warming up syringe and jab spot seems to help me out, but still worried about my leg. Will keep this updated, just in case some1 cares

I cannot for the life of me fathom while people shoot in their leg. You walk on that, what if something goes wrong. Shoot into a muscle that you don't use, such as your brain jk.

Seriously though glutes or delts always and you'll be fine.

Soreness to the point of your leg giving when you walk on it. Elevated fever locally on the leg and systemic temp (check it orally-or anally...but not both...........just kidding, lol). Splotchy skin.

Be on watch for that fever. It is the difference maker. You wont get a surface pimple, but you may get dying surface skin--if you get that, go to the hospital, you are too late. The pus will be as deep as the injection, but may have moved along a dermatome (obviously depending on the depth). It likely wont travel upstream of the inject. That may be why you are swollen so close to the knee...because surely nobody would inject there....jk. We were all rookies once...

All good points brother, I just tend to opt for a more optimistic viewpoint as high BA gear or short estered gear can mimic an abscess. That's why I usually tell them to wait a week. Unless of course there is fever or obvious signs of necrosis of the tissues, which I didn't see in his image.

I wish I was never wrong! Can you please tell the wife that? :D

And don't be a pussy don't call an ambulance you don't need it unless your about to die! Drive your ass to the doctor or have someone take you. The paramedics will just think your a pussy

I would tell her, but then she would show us how we could both be wrong...then it would be good company in a bad place.

I will say this: I cut my teeth on Mexican drugs that were most likely smuggled in the rear end of the fastest donkey that could swim the Rio Grande. When your leg started swelling, you had better start planning. It isn't like that today. It is all kids playing with UGL stuff (that admittedly may be higher quality that the mule colon sten I used to take), and finding themselves in a painful, but not dangerous situation. I always assume the worst because I am not soft and I wouldn't throw up the red flag if I thought it was just PIP. But for god sakes...the newest generation of AAS users are calling in med-flights for tren cough--tren cough is why they invented the fetal position.

I am not flaming the OP, but I guess I should have figured it wasn't serious when he decided to go for a bike ride. The last abscess I syphoned out with syringe had me deathly ill--it felt like I had injected ebola-AIDS into my brain. It was years ago, but you never lose that healthy fear. I carry that fear for the new guys, but the last 3 guys I have tried to help end up in these stages:

1)HELP ME!!! ITS ALL OVER!!! BLOOD PRESSURE DROPPING, PUPILS FIXED AND DIALATED, PULSE NOT PALPABLE, RESPIRATION DROPPING!!!
2) Thanks for the help guys...turns out your muscles get sore when you do the new zumba class. I just thought I was infected.

I think I am going to leave the rest of the PIP-squeaks to the board.

I think I am bitter....

LOL! I truly dig your posts joliver. It's true, most start out like they're going to die - followed by, "oh, everything's fine. Just needed a day." Heaven help the kids that hit a nerve or strike a blood vessel with some actual volume in it!
