Guys, what are the problems of staying on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for the rest of your life? And keeping it around 850?

Thanks

I am new here so wait for some of the other guys chime in. But from what I have read nothing is wrong with it as long as you keep all your other levels in check. Mainly E2. Also you will more than likely become sterile.

Elevated hematocrit/blood cell count and enlargement of the heart is possible. Irks me that most negative sides attributed to testosterone usage are actually caused by E2, which can be managed somewhat easily. Hematocrit and CBC are also manageable through blood donations/apheresis. I haven't seen a ton of studies done on the heart enlargement factor, but I'd wager that it's with respect to the dose of testosterone and supraphysiological levels being what push the median of data towards the upper end of the spectrum.

My .02c :)

i have also done some research on the enlarged heart issue.. it is aggravated with the use of gh.. mixing test and gh long term causes enlargement..

Wait wait wait... Sterile for life? I talked with a pharmacist and she told me you won't be sterile when you come off of it... So is it for life or just when you're on it?

My remedial understanding on this is that if you previously had viable sperm that you can get them going again regardless of how long you have been hypogonadal or on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). You may need fertility treatment though to get it going.

If you are really worried, make a deposit at the sperm bank before you get started.
