TRT cypionate trouble

Bros

I was diagnosed with idiopathic hypogonadism 2 yrs ago. Doc RX'ed me 150 mg test cypionate weekly. Since I've started taking it I basically feel terrible. Nauseated half the time and a general feeling of being unwell. I work through it at the gym and in life, but am curious if anyone has heard of this or experienced it at what I consider to be relatively small doses.

I've obviously discussed this with my doc, and they've checked estrogen, thyroid, cortisol, other hormone levels, etc, and they really don't have any answers for me.

Seems like you think it is the Test that is doing it, so have you attempted to stop the Test? Even if it is for a few weeks

Have you had any gastro tests?

I backed way down to 40mg per week. No remarkable difference. My doc hasn't referred me for any gastro work but checked for obvious stomach conditions (ie e pylori and blood work kidney/liver/pancreas). He rx'ed GERD med as well. We're playing a guessing game. Try this/try that.

Most reflux is caused by insufficient stomach acid leading to bacterial infections of the gut which is causing the GERD. It can be highly harmful to take GERD meds. Is it working?

You cannot ignore the fact that you feel like crap and have GERD. Clearly you have some sort of infection in your intestines. Antibiotics are not always effective with these. I would recommend getting a stool test that shows what bacteria are present. What is your diet like? How many BMS a day do you have? I would try betaine HCL with meals before a GERD scrip. Stomach acid is a precious thing - and probably only 5% of the time is excess stomach acid the problem.
