TRT gyno and where to go from here?
I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 9 weeks. I am taking 100mg/wk of Cyp. My initial blood test was for total test and PSA. My TT was 245ng/dl out of 241-827ng/dl range. My PSA was 0.4 out of < or = to 4.0 range. Last week I started noticing slight discomfort and a lump under my left nipple. I've had this before and got it to subside with Letro. I was not running a cycle when I got it before. So I go in for my injection today. I tell the nurse about it. She leaves and comes back in 5 minutes later. The nurse tells me the Dr is not in but she spoke with the PA. The PA said she did some research and the lump was not a side effect of the TRT. At my initial appointment I asked the DR about HCG or AI's along with the Test. He claimed he has never had a need to prescribe it. I have been paying out of pocket this whole time. My insurance will kick in Nov 1. The Dr I currently see does not accept my new insurance, so I will be going to a different family Dr. I will assume my new Dr will want another blood panel to see where I'm at. If I were to take Ralox to help with the gyno, would it show anything weird on my blood test? I'm not sure where to go with this. Any help would be appreciated.
