TRT with Hashimoto's thyroiditis how much Cytomel
I tryed testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) several months ago. Long story short it didnt work so well for me. I think i may have found out why my tsh was way out.
Standard range TSH 0.10-5.50 uIU/mL (5.78)
Free T4 0.8-1.7 ng/dL (0.9)
> 6/4/2011 this is on 212 synthroid.
which is above the 1.7 1.6 mcg/kg/day that the drug makers state.
By body wt my max dose should be approx 181-193. according to makers of synthroid Levothyroxine sodium doses greater than 200 mcg/day are seldom required.
can anyone give me info as to the correct way to incorperate t-3 with my t-4.???

ps the paper i could find (MMS: Error)-guess i can cross link??
t-3/t-4 stated to use 4:1 but im not sure how to do this.
