Well before I ask my question I just want to say that after reading alot of the threads and stickies on this site and getting a lot of good info from the users. Iv'e decided not to start using AAS because as of now It seems like the risks outweigh the benefits at my age(20). BTW Im not a bodybuilder, I am competitive athlete and was looking for an edge/ability to train more. The last thing I wanted to ask are what are the reasons you tell people to wait untill they are atleast 23+ other than the fact that they can gain naturally in this time frame with good diet etc.(Want to know because I am not a bodybuilder)Are the side effects/ risk of fuking up ones endrocine system and growth plates / HPTA higher at a younger age or is it the same?

Yes, your growth plates dont merge and close until you are around 25.
There is a laundry list of other issues and sides you would be causing to yourself by doing aas at a young age. Hopefully someone with some facts will chime in.

There seems to be an onslaught of young people trying to gear up these days.

not only sterol hormones ( testosterone, but it's not the only one) are concerned.

but, between 20 to 25 your somatropine decrease about 70%!!!!!!! it's realy important regarding the grow factors

That's actually not true. The majority of male's growth plates fuse during puberty.

If anyone's worried about growth plates, go ask your doctor. They'll x-ray and tell you what's up.
