Thighs rubbing during cardio. RED!

Its beginning to be a huge prob 4 me. I almost quit early today because of the rubbing. I got home and it is raw and red, and really burning. Should I use vasiline because it is slippery? I need ideas. Thanks.

Also, I just started doing leg press with feet together for quads. My heels come off the platform at the bottom of the motion. Is that not right? I REALLY feel it in the quads so I dont see the prob. Let me know. Thanks.

I have had a problem with that for years when I sweat, my legs have zero hair there and are smooth from years of rubbing together.

If you can't hang, try the stationary bike or something where you can put your legs wider. I prefer boxer briefs because they help keep the area dry and cover more of the thigh.

Long boxer briefs are the answer to the chafing problem.

For the leg press, if your heels are coming up, maybe your feet are too low.

Thanks guys. I will try that talcum stuff as well.

Pullin, :laugh3:

You guys should have seen how I was walking for the last 15 minutes! Damn it hurt. I have a blister on one side I think! DAMN!

I only have that problem when I run for long periods. I have since moved to the eliptical or walking uphill on a treadmill. BTW I do also wear boxerbriefs now and have not had a problem.

Yep yep, full agreement. The powder stuff didn't do it, made the problem worse for me.

OK guys and gals, I figured it out!

I went to sport check and they had these spandex boxer brief things. They are under wear, only spandex. They work like magic! Even with the red thighs, I just walked 1 hour and didnt feel any pain at all! When you put them on just make sure to hike them up so they are tight all the way up to your crotch so the skin of the legs dont touch eachother.

PROBLEM SOLVED! Now I can walk all day long!

I actually tried baby powder b4 too, and it didnt work at all 4 me, and normal boxer briefs rub as well. All my normal ones have holes on the inner legs.
