Westside is the Best Side
So for the past 5 years I've been researching and reading about Anabolic Steroids. It was never for the purpose of future use but more or less the constant talk about steroids in the media that in a way forced me to educate myself to form an opinion.
My opinion is that they aren't nearly as bad as people make them out to be. A lot of myths and bullshit attatched by the media. However they still are drugs, still have risks and still need to taken seriously.
History
I've been lifting since I was 15 years old. I'm 24 now. But I didn't really start training seriously until about 4 years ago.
I've been thinking about doing my first cycle for a while now, but never was really sure about it. Mostly because of a few side effects I'm worried about and the fear that I don't even think I know half of what I should.
Cycle Interests
But I'm still interesting in doing a cycle.
I read DocJ's massive newbie thread about 3 times and it was very helpful.
So for my first cycle I was thinking about doing just straight Test-E or Prop @ maybe 300mg/week.
I'm leaning towards Prop more because I know shorter esters have fewer sides.
My main concern is Gyno. I happened to run a Natty Test Booster a few years back (AX Mass FX) and got a few weeks in started experiencing itchy nips. So I stopped using it and ran 6-0X0 at the time because I honestly didn't know what else to do and it took care of it. But I didn't know that that could happen with a Natty Test Booster.
I haven't touched anything hormonal since. But I figure if I'm going to risk sides like that, I might as well get something positive out of it and I don't think I can get that with a natty test booster.
Training
So my training routine is 5 days a week.
Mon-Chest
Tues-Legs
Wednesday-Arms
Thursday-Back
Saturday-Shoulders
I throw abs in with every workout and my cardio is usually 10x3minute rounds on the heavy bag 3x a week.
Goals for training are just adding overall size while staying somewhat lean. The well being feelings while on would be very nice considering a I'm a fairly high strung individual.
Diet
Diet is good. I know how to eat but sometimes I have a hard time controlling cravings. Now when I have cravings it's not for complete junk like candy, cookies, donuts, cake etc. But stuff like Tyson Oven Chicken Tenderloins, empty carbs, stuff that isn't terrible for me, but still isn't what I should be eating.
So yeah I know how to eat and what to eat, it's just a matter of controlling cravings and keeping my diet interesting so I don't get bored from eating the same thing all the time.
Sleep
The hardest part for me is sleep. I have a lot of trouble getting my brain to calm down so I can fall asleep. Like right now. It's 2:30am and I have more energy now that I did at 9am this morning. So I could use some advice in that respect.
Stats
Bodyweight is: 207lbs
BF%- No Idea.
Height: 5'9"
IRM's
Bench- 295x1
Squat-385x1 (Box)
Deadlift- 335x1
OH Press- 185x1
So as far as the cycle.
I was thinking doing straight test, running Arimidex on cycle to ensure I don't have any flare up. As far as PCT I was just going to to Nolva 40/40/20/20.
Again I've got a good amount of knowledge but it would really be a help if someone could help me plan out the cycle or if you think I should hold off and wait. That's cool too. Again I'm not the all knowing expert.
Thank You Very Much in advance for your help.
And great site.
