Hi. I've been reading the posts and threads today, hearing alot of info. I am 40ish, 240#. I have been doing a full body workout on resistance machines at a local gym for the last 4 months.(Curves) During part of that time (11 weeks) I was also on a low-carb (20-60g) diet. I worked out three days a week. I lost 13# and 1% bodyfat (44%). I cheated twice during that period (not at all like the carb-ups I've read about) and didn't miss but 2 workouts. Very discouraging for me.

I laid off for the last month(during the holidays) and have just begun a full body workout, three days a week at another gym with bodymaster machines and free weights. My last workout was 1.5 hours (still getting used to the machines) and then I walked (quick pace) 2 miles directly after. I am no longer on a low-carb diet.

Chicken brsts and tuna 4-6 times a day won't cut it in my house. My son is underweight and my husband will just raise h**l! I am ready for a change but don't know which way to turn, too much info. Today, I have eaten less than 800 calories, don't have much here that I should eat. Grocery shopping has become a nightmare, so I do it very little. I am very busy during the day and can't always get to a microwave or sit down at lunch sometimes. I take a full load at school (student) and put in 25 hours a week on two part-time jobs, and am active in things on campus in addition to my time working out. I have looked at too many sites on the internet already and am at overload. Can you help me with tomorrow?

bf?

:spin: Well, that is what you get when you need to eat! Maybe the above was too much info. What I really need to know is why I lost only 1% bf? I followed everything that I was supposed to do, lc and work out 3 days a week. I didn't do that much cardio, I've been reading how much some people do here. I know I didn't have the timing down for each thing like I am reading here and elswhere. How do you make your bf% move, up or down??? Any words are good.
