Took too much?

Hey guys,

So my doctor prescribed me 10ml of 200mg Testosterone, but the problem is... and honestly, I'm not overdosing or anything, it's just I think my calculations were off. I was never shown how to use it before, so the first time I calculated how much I need to be taking and that's how I've been doing. But now, it's running out before how long it was suppose to last... (5 months). And it's only been 1.5 months?? The doctor says it's a prohibited drug so his hands are bound... Does he suspect I was intentionally overdosing it? How can I prove to him I really didn't... I didn't know a mark on a 3cc or 6cc syringe is different... I didn't even know there were different sizes, only the size of the needle...

So the next time is October... And I'm worried my levels will go back 250 again. I'm currently at 750...

So... Any ideas guys?

What is your prescribed dose per week? If a vial is supposed to last 5 months, that's 2ml a month - roughly being equal to 100mg a week. If your dose is 100mg a week, you should be injecting .5ml every seven days or .25ml every 3.5 days. He suspects you of abuse which is silly as your test levels aren't indicative of abusing the substance. I have to be honest here though, something doesn't add up as consuming 10ml in 1.5 months is 1.67ml a week or 333mg/wk which shouldn't only give you 750ng/dL. How recent was your blood work taken? That's the easiest way to prove to a doctor that you're not abusing as bloods don't lie.

If it turns out you need more than 100mg/wk, which is very likely if you're a bigger fella - that could be a good way to open the discussion to this, but don't start off blaming your inability to discern the difference between .5ml and 2ml. If your blood work is recent, are you wasting a lot of the drug somehow? 333mg/wk (unless you're getting 100mg/ml vials) should easily put you well over 1500ng/dL, which is why I ask.

Oh, yes - if he absolutely refuses to refill your test, you will return to baseline levels in about a month of non-use.

Does your prescription allow for refills or did he write it out for only one vial? If it allows for refills I would try going to the pharmacy and getting it refilled. Worst that can happen is they say no.

I would tell them your vial got accidentally contaminated rather than tell them you measured incorrectly. That excuse should work once. And while you are at the pharmacy, ask them to give you a refresher on how to measure a dose.

I agree with Halfwit though in that your math seems off a bit.

Do yourself a favor... If your TT really is at 750, get your Estradiol checked out soon. You may be aromatizing the crap out of your Test. When I say soon, I mean in like the next couple of days. Read in the stickies how to get cheap bloodwork.

I got a lab test like 2 weeks ago... And I told him I'll go tomorrow and show him how I measure and inject. I'm totally fine with a blood test... This makes me angry because when on the phone I can totally tell he think I'm abusing it... What should I do if he says no? He already called the pharmacy to check if the one they gave me was 10ml... Do steroids vaporize???

And also he keeps saying his hands are bound... he can't write me a prescription even if he wanted to. Is that a BS ??

I do know that doctors are restricted in the amount of controlled substances they can prescribe at one time, but I do think he's lying to you. If that were the case and you dropped a vial, losing the entire contents, would he expect you to just live like crap for 5 months? I do think he suspects you of abusing and I'm interested in what your new labs are as steroids don't vaporize unless you were to put that little vial under a bit of heat. (Think several hundred degrees. )
