well actually, not allot of result since, im back to the gym from only couple months.
Had to stop almost 2 years, cause of some problems (after i trained hard 1 year)
But seen some friend build them up like that pretty quick. All depends of your body, some can have naturally without work them out , some take 1 to 3 years to get some
when training abs I always treat them like a normal body part and hit them with heavy weight and low reps for 2 or 3 exercises in the 4-6 rep range and take a week off to rest them.
ive had abs my whole life, but know that im gaining a lot and killing mass gainer shakes ever day im starting to see them fade off. When i did do abs i would do them ever other day 3 - 4 sets 15 - 20 reps with heavyweights with little rest . have to get back to doing them
Wow there are SO many different opinions on this. For me it seems like you either have them naturally or you don't. Mine aren't horrible by any means but I've worked my ass off to get them where they're at now. I'm trying 6 sets of 20 for a few weeks so I will report back on how that goes.
I will be training my abs like this 3-4 times a week with one of these days being weighted and the rest being only bodyweight. I am on test/deca at the moment so they're probably not gonna be pic worthy. But I can tell when they're developing well.
i would just do them till you cant do any more some times i dont go by reps i just burn then out. 3-4 sets each burn out and do like 3 or 4 exercice s , 3-4 times a week and keep changing exercise up each time you do abs. im sure your gunna be shredded.
Last year I got down to about 8.5% bodyfat and my abs still weren't shredded. Some of this was from stubborn water weight but I was still pissed!! This summer will not be the same. Shooting for 6-7% and I'm gonna try everything till something works.
just keep doing them all the time and im sure you will get were you want to be , good luck. i have the same problem but just with my calves lol i have to start to hit them hard like ever other day.
