Chicago glad you got the straps and they are working for you. Like MN87 suggested in the list Farmer Carry/Walk. Not only good for traps but great for grip. Use 70-90% of BW. After a few sets your forarms will be on fire. NO straps on this cause you want to work your grip.
A Great way to build hand strength is grab the heaviest dumbells you can handle and just stand there with them in your hands on your sides,hold them for as long as you can once you can hold them no more drop them and do a drop set.
