i was wondering what work outs i should do to help build my chest better because thats the hardest part for my body to gain on... i do 3 sets of flat bench...3 sets of dumbell bench... 2 sets of incline dumbell and 2 sets of incline with the bar.... and i was also wondering how often you can work out your traps?
 
dips slow and deep are great for chest--add weight as you get better at them--I never train traps specifically because I get enough from deadlifts.
 
traps should be built through deads.

Like Husky said. Heavy weighted dips should pack on some mass on the chest. WIDE grip benching really focuses on the pecs so, you can always try that. Basically any compound movement will help build it... .. But if you have bad genetics for a big barrell chest (like me) have fun having a small chest the rest of your life, lol
 
im a pler and havnet dipped since i started PL-ing. But yes, Dips hit your chest hard its a compound movement just like the bench press if you havent figured it out
 
yea i dont think im one of those guys that by genetics will just have a huge chest.. my shoulders are what really get big and my back arm... but ima really start hitting those wide grip bench presses now...

Why such the variety?
 
mainly the reason for such a variety is because my chest is the hardest thing for me to make grow so i guess i try and make shurr i do everything possible that i can to make it grow..should i do flys also?
 
i was also wondering should i do really close grip bench press to get my inner chest ?
i had no idea tho that wide grip bench press targeted your overall chest the best...i was always trying to lift with my arms closer in than farther out
 
You do a lot of incline work compared to flat, this isn't neccessary. No, close grip benches do not 'target your inner chest.' Hands close in should not be overdone, too close and you target triceps more than anything else.

Depends how you do them, if you dont lean forward they will target your triceps more. I dont do dips at all because they bother my shoulders in a bad way.
