Traveling On TRT

Doing the TRT thing
I'm curious how you guys handle traveling via airplane and continuing your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) protocol.

What if you're traveling for 2 weeks and your hotel doesn't have a fridge? How do you keep your Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) cold?

What about boarding a plane with syringes and vials in your checked luggage? Do you ever get questioned about it?

And how do you keep the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) vials cold when traveling in the car, plane, etc. when you don't have access to a fridge for hours and hours?

Just thinking about what a pain in the fuckin ass that would be and how you guys handle it.

I cold packed my stuff when I went on vacation. Just a Styrofoam pack with some ice packs in it did the trick. I then just picked up a cheap Styrofoam cooler near the hotel and just would fill it with ice. It wasn't ideal, but seemed to work for what I needed.

I had no problem with the Test or syringes in my checked baggage at all.

I have one of those small "lunch box" cold bags. What I do is get a gatorade bottle or something similar with a wide mouth, fill it to the brim with ice, top it off with water and keep my Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) in that at the hotels or in the car. When I am boarding the plane I dump the bottle. The only flights I have been on since testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) have been 2 hour puddle jumpers. I am currently looking into a better solution for longer (up to 24 hour) flights.

I just put my pins and RX in my checked bags. I have had a few raised eyebrows on some of the ships I have been on. Found a few testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) bros out at sea but no hassles.

The biggest problem that i encounter with traveling on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is that my thunderstick is always hard and i love to wear loose shorts/sweats! I should by stock in under armor! The minute i see a hot flight attendant, its all over! My dick is hard rock hard and it takes everything i have inside of me to not turn her into the dirty little whore that she knows she wants to be!!!

All hail maximus!!!

I can see the headlines now "large brutish man sodomized young stewardess in front of packed plane" "she was asking for it" said the man who referred to himself in the third person as Maximus.... more at 11

As for keeping Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) cold...

I have a small thermos that I throw a few ice cubes into. Put the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) vial in a ziplock baggie and then into the thermos with the ice. Cold for a couple of days before i need to change out the ice cubes.

Do you think this would fly in a checked bag? Would TSA break everything?

I'd just take a larger then normal Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) shot before you leave and just bring the scripted test/Ai

I think it might cause a little hassle but it's totally legal to travel wit your meds. People on insulin do it all the time.

Hell, I've flown with firearms... now that's a hassle. You should see peoples faces when you walk up to the counter and tell them you'd like to check in a firearm

Traveling with HCG

I posted this before on the "Tips for Newbies" string, but it seems appropriate for this one. This is the solution I used, and it worked great. However, I did always have small refrigerators in my hotels. You could probably just use ice from an ice machine though....

I ended up purchasing a "medication cooling system" on a well known shopping site (don't know if I can name names, so I'll stay generic with my terms). It's basically a small soft side cooler which comes with a couple sheets of Techni-Ice, which when soaked becomes gel. It also has a tube to keep the meds in. To use this you freeze one gel sheet and refrigerate the other. The refrigerated sheet goes next to the meds, and the frozen one goes around that. I wasn't sure how TSA would react to the gel (I have prescriptions, so I didn't worry about the meds) but I went through 3 screenings (plus two agricultural screenings) and they never once blinked at the little cooler. (I carried it separately.) They did, however, pull out my electric toothbrush once because it looked like a sharp object in the x-ray (go-figure). The cooler kept the HCG cold for I'd say for over 16 hours...maybe 20 in room temperatures. Downside is that it's a bit bulky. Hope this helps somebody!

HAIL MAXIMUS at times airport security mistakes my hardon for dynamite and I get strip searched by the TSA.

Update:

Recently on a domestic flight I carried my HcG in a "cold Pack" though TSA. I asked them to hand check it VS. X-ray. Once, they asked me to see the RX bottle, on the way back they did not. When the guy asked to see the RX he never read the bottle. He did ask what the medicine was for. I told him it was a fertility drug. No prollems! They carry it to the end of the line and swipe the bag down with these pads(like "stridex" pads from back in the day) and run the pads through the sniffer machine.

I have recently travelled to the Philippines with my test, pills, and pins. That trip required only one dose of HcG so I just skipped that dose. All my other goodies were in my checked bags, which were never searched (to my knowledge). Also, a short trip to Mexico this month but same thing, no problems. I will say this, the airport in Ciudad Del Carmen, Mexico seems fairly strict. They X-ray and run the drug dogs by every bag coming in.

I am headed back to the Philippines yet again on Monday. I don't feel that there would be much of an issue travelling just about anywhere as long as you have your RX bottle with you. It's not as though you are trying to bring a kilo of blow with you or 300 vials of bathtub test. Granted there are many folks out there with thier preconcieved notions and misconceptions about our medicines, but they are doctor prescribed to us for health reasons.

Guess it really depends on screener..I've been travelling for 5 days at a time, I just been scheduling my injections on the day of travel and immediately upon returning. Any longer and I will just take the stuff with me. I do take my AI's with me though, I worry about taking the test, don't want them to snag it :)
