Tri-FLEX, to buy or not to buy?

Hey everybody,

I've just recently started getting big into the lifting scene within the last year. I also play competitive volleyball pretty much everyday. Needless to say this is pretty stressful on my knees. Starting about a year ago, when I changed from seditary fatty to the in shape active guy I am now I started getting pains in my left knee with EVERY step, every movement.

I got an MRI thinking I had injured a ligament, maybe a meniscus or something. Turns out it's just a strained muscle. No matter how much stretching and strength training I do seems to help it.

About two weeks ago I purchased Tri-FLEX by GNc. For this unfamiliar with the product: Glucosamine HCL 1500mg, Chondroitin Suldate 1200mg, MSM (Methylsufonyl-methane) 900mg. My knee pain is gone! I have a *little* stiffness in the morning, but other than that I don't have any pain. So my question is; is Tri-FLEX something incredible and worth the $35 a month, or can I get the same thing from a kroger brand glucosamine/chondroitin mix for $10-15 dollars?
