....what he said

as for my training history.. ive worked out in the past.. but stopped working out the day i got married, which was about 2 years ago. Ive been in and out of the gym but not consistently... I used to work as a personal trainer a couple of years back before I got married.. I kinda know my stuff.. but would like to B U L K up and then once Ive done the Bulking up part.. then get down to the cutting part and get all chinseled up.

and as for working out a bit early.. its kind of hard for me to do that due to being a stay home father for my daughter who is 10 months old... and ive tried to work out at 5 30 in the morning and it made me slack off.. I do notice that when I go to the gym after school which is at night.. I tend to be more consistent with my attendace at the gym

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Too much starch in your diet, not enough protein and fats. Eat more meat and less starch, try to get most of your carbs from fresh vegetables. If you are bulking then why are you drinking skim milk, switch to whole milk. More eggs, more meat and more milk will help you bulk up.

cant stand the taste of whole milk.. ive gotten used to the 1% over the years.. i was trying to stay slim and not bulk up.. but these days i want to bulk up... do something different with my body..

so just eat more veggies and fruits rather than rice and bagels?

and by starch what do you mean?

eat the majority of ur carbs early in ur day. about 1.5hrs after ur workout have a carb meal like rice/chicken. this was why i was aking u if its possible to workout early because u are going to bed with a half empty stomach and not eating appropriiating postworkout

Did you recieve the PM i sent you?

Regarding PM's I dont know how to get PM's... I am new to this site..and thanks for the advice guys.. I'll try to change up my diet around abit to reduce the starches

Regarding the PM.. nope i never got it as far as i know.... and what is so bad about getting your protein from the powder rather than whole foods? arent they the same kind of protein your body needs? you would think the protein from the powder would be a little better????

Real food is always better than processed, protein powder is a supplement not the main component of a diet. Americans eat too much processed foods, thats why we are a country of doughy slugs. Fresh vegetables are better than canned, right off the tree is better than the waxy shit they try to pawn on us at grocery stores--this should be a common sense way of looking at food. Obviously it is not, I cannot for the life of me understand how someone could think that protein powder is better than food. Just look at the anabolic forum, for those people drugs are better than nutrition and exercise, there are guys who just took up training in a gym, they have bodyfat percentages above 20% and they are talking about the cycle they are on. Sorry to rant but people need to get a goddamned clue.

no problem i completely understand.. im trying to go the natural way... ALL NATURAL...but after a while if that doesnt work.. I will see what other ways to help me bulk up
