Unable to donate blood due to BP

I'll try to be brief,
I wanted to donate blood regularly for hemocrit and ferritin levels. With that said, I have a fear of needles and get rather nervous; not enough to keep me from getting things done though. So, I attempted to give blood at a local blood bank and was turned away due to high blood pressure. I explained to them that my blood pressure at home is normal and the readings are anxiety induced. Still a no go. My question is, are there any other medical options where I can have blood removed on a regular basis?
Thank you

You can have a dr prescribe therapeutic phlebotomy if you can't donate blood. Same procedure but the blood is disposed of.

Take a vasodilator before going to lower your BP. A good pre workout usually has NO in it which is a VD or you can take a low dose of Cialis or Viagra as well.

Yup, 10mg of Cialis an hour before you go. Tell them to let you relax when they take you back to the chair to test. Then get a relaxing breathing rhythm going and don't watch the numbers when they hook you up. Should drop quite well. I have White Coat-itis my damn self, my BP skyrockets at the doctor's office, but if I am allowed to relax and clear my mind, BOOM 120/60 or so.

Thank you all for the wonderful feedback.
So Cialis can lower my BP to some degree regardless of the nerves?
To illustrate, I usually run around 120/80 at home. At the clinic last week, I was 177/92.

Yes. It will increase arterial volume by dilating blood vessels. Increase the volume of the blood vessels and the pressure required to pump blood through them decreases.

Man this is GREAT! Ive always wanted something to help me out with my BP in situations where Im nervous. Specifically blood donations and doctor visits. Now Ive just got to convince a doctor to prescribe me an ED drug for my BP

Viagra was originally created as a hypertension medication by Pfizer. During the clinical trials the inventors found out it increased blood flow into the corpus cavernosum or penis area.

Hello,

Having a blood pressure close to or north of 180/100 is serious, your head will probably hurt from the pressure and strokes are more prone to happen. You do not want to take any blood pressure medications if it just spikes like that as your did because of stress, I doubt a doc would prescribe blood pressure medication for those types of situations neither. You need to try to tackle the fear and not the BP!
