Unproportionate biceps to triceps help

I actually studied 6 years in the field and I've been training longer than that. I have enough clients with lasting results to add a 100,000 "rep power". Sure you can BUY a certificate but those idiots have no business training anyone. I'm not trying to brag on my academics and training experience. This guy asked a question and I gave him the correct info based on my experience, knowledge, proven science and proven studies. No need to throw your weight around. You're a moderator. Moderate. There was 20+ views on this thread before I put my two cents in.

To the OP, I gave you good advice. You can take it or leave it. It bothers me none. Many will tell you different. The moderator doesn't have enough knowledge to have an educated argument with me hence why he started bashing me.

you studied for 6 years lol , while you were studying i was squatting , while you were taking your exams i was dragging
a 1000 pound sled up and down a field , while you were teaching little old lady tricep kickbacks i was pulling .

with very few exceptions personnal trainsers are thieves who steal peoples money , there only real purpose is to tell people how awesome they are doing those tricep kickbacks.
like i said there are a few exceptions but FEW is the key word.

I agree with this statement whole heartedly.... I am a certified trainer as well.....I DO NOT TRAIN PEOPLE..... I did it as a personal goal for knowledge....I LOVE talking to trainers at the gym and listening to their garbage pouring out of their mouth....especially when they are either 135 lbs or a 290 lb fat sack of shit... I'd rather talk to the guy squatting 600lbs then a guy in a t-shirt that says "fitness coach"...lol

Look Dadawg, I'm not gonna argue with you over who's more reputable. I can find cons about getting advice from an average joe just like you can about a personal trainer. You're labeling me, which isn't fair to this community or the fitness community. Just bc you're older doesn't mean you're smarter but who am I to judge? You told me why you thought I was wrong and I told you why I was right. If you can't have an educated argument without trying to discredit someone then how does that make you look. Sure you have rep, but how's your rapport?

If you ever need advice or suggestions, I'll be here to give advice. Just drop the pride, ignorance and pessimism. We're all here to help.

I laugh at some personal trainers too. That makes two of us. Some ARE idiots.

Most of those guys are idiots I wouldn't associate myself with. Just bc you're big doesn't mean your smart. Just bc you pulled a sled doesn't make you a
Reputable person.

Bullseye the camber bar is the preacher bar. I've used the one ur talking about and wasn't impressed. The preacher bar give u the width and thickness imo.

And how my personal trainer wentbto college for muscle tendon and joint knowledge oh they didn't bc those r the ones making the big bucks training college and pro athletes. Just speaking my mind.

There is a direct correlation between size and intelligence of the mind-body connection. There's a reason people always ask the biggest guy what he did to get that way... at least they should. They used to before the internet made everyone a 160lb guru. I'm not bashing you either just so you know.

Ull probabaly find that ur chest is also lacking as u r not doing enough compound pushing movements . Ur back is probabaly of descent size aswell to correlate with ur biceps . Look on the positve side of things my friend if ur arms r big now thier going to b
GINORMOUS when u get ur triceps in order being that the tricep takes up 70% of ur sleeve ;) Anyway building a big horse shoe tricep i would suggest close grip bench ( 6-8 reps ) descent weight 3 sets another underrated tricep exersise is ur tricep kickback get them in ur routine somewere also compound exersises do them AND ull be gettin all kinds of meow .

lol @ Dadawg getting into dog fights with everyone and everyone trying to fight with him lol. Who let the dawgs out! OOH OOOH OOOH!

Just because you are big doesn't mean you know everything about working out.

Just because you are small doesn't mean you don't know anything about working out...you just haven't put the effort into it like the big guy has.

Look at some sports coaches...how many great coaches were amazing players were all-stars every year and hall of famers? Almost none. What makes them good COACHES is they UNDERSTAND the game and have KNOWLEDGE. It doesn't take knowledge to pull a sleigh or snap a giant sequoia with your fingers...it takes dedication. It takes motivation. Years of it.

The personal trainer is just as credible knowledge-wise about working out as the guy who has been in the gym for 20 years. He has studied the human body, he has studied possibly dozens if not hundreds of articles relating to human anatomy, physiology, and exercise. What they usually say DOES work as far as building muscle goes...because they have refined the science of bodybuilding so that you DO build muscle when you're in the gym or lose weight while you're in the gym or prepare for a 5k or 10k.

However, Dadawg knows what it takes to see massive growth and change because he knows what works for him and he has dedication and motivation to change his body. He is a one-man research cyborg that gathers knowledge from years of hard earned sweat called "experience".

It all comes down to what works for YOU. Dadawg can say...'Hey...go pull some sleighs'...and Mr. Personal Trainer will be like 'Do some concentration curls'....depending on your goal and how your body responds...one will work for you...both might work for you...and they BOTH might work for you but one might work slightly better/faster.

Okay...good movie is back on...later.

This is true...you have to find what works for you. I'm not knocking on trainers at all, in fact I'm working on getting certified myself. However, every time I have ever tried to have a conversation with any of the trainers at my gym about human physiology, they generally have no clue what I'm talking about. Maybe it's just my location, but I was very disappointed.
