Update on "Off Cycle" After a year long Cycle

Swoleburn

Gettin Swole
After being on for a full year I have now been off for a little under two months. My cycle consisted of various compounds for that year including, Test, Trenbolone, Masterone, Winstrol, Equipoise, Deca, D-Bol and Anavar. For my post cycle therapy (pct) I took HCG, Clomid, Nolvadex and an ECA stack for the first month after my cycle ended along with tribbulis and a very high protien diet (600g/day). After the first month I stopped the post cycle therapy (pct) and continued on with the high protien, moderate calorie diet which brings me to the present date. During these two months, to my suprise, I have not seen any real diference in my physique or strength. My weight has been level at 270lbs and I have maybe lost a rep on core lifts but nothing major. For the first month I felt very deppressed and had to absolutely drag myself to the gym but these last few weeks I have been very energetic and feel good again. I know that I am probably not fully recovered after only two months but I am feeling a whole lot better. I am hoping that the worst has passed and that I can maintain my size and strength for a couple more months until I start my next cycle. I dont think I will ever go with a cycle that long again. I may have gotten away with it this time but next time I may not be so fortunate. I am going to stick with 16 week cycles with 10 weeks off. I just thought that I would share this with you guys.

In Case anyone was wondering here are my stats:
6'4"
270lbs
24 years old
apprx: 14% bf
4 cycles under belt

I will try to get some up soon, I have not taken any pics since my cycle was over but I would like to see the difference as well

Have you thought anything about the future and what longterm sideeffects your use/abuse will lead to? Beeing on 16 week and off 10 weeks a year, means that you will be on more then 60 % of the year. Doing 1 year cycle in your age is in my humble opinion plain stupid. I don´t want to flame you but what are you thinking about?

Glad to see the boys are back up and running after a month. Although it might be a good idea to also goto the doc to see if your t-levels are back up to normal.

As for your comment, yes I have thought about it and the reason I was on so long was because I thought I was going to have a chance to play ball in the NFL and wanted to perform well at the combines and camps that ran throughout the year. I do agree that it was not the smartest thing to go on for a year but fuck it, its done and over with now. I have come to the conclusion that I will stay on steroids for a good majority of my life cycling on and off. Now that my football career is over and had a chance at some pro camps I would like to do some different things so staying on all year is not necessary. Im not saying that staying on for 60% of the year is safe but shit we are all doing steroids so who is to say what is safe?

I am planning on getting my T-Levels and bloodwork done before I start my next cycle in June. I was going to start my cycle in May but decided to wait a little longer due to the advice of some mods here.

that's cool.........so how much did you core lifts increase?
i remember your bench/dead was already HIGH months ago when you posted the numbers

To tell you the honest truth in the last 3 months of my cycle my lifts stayed the same and my progress was slowing drastically. I probably should have stopped then. When I ended my cycle I was able to do 465 on bench for 5 but never really went over that. My squats were at about 585 for 8 and I really never did more for fear of injury. Only on occasion did I go for lower reps on squats and would go 615 for 5. As far as dead lifts I would usually use 405 for 10. If I go much heavier my back seems to round at the bottom. I would say that now I probably lost a rep or two on every movement but I can deal with a couple lost reps.

True Indeed

I have never had my blood work done because last time I asked to have my T-Levels tested they looked at me like I was crazy. Any suggestions on what to tell the doctor when I ask to have these levels checked?

Tell him you have very low sex drive, erectile disfunction, very tired and depressed, basically all the symptoms of low test levels, that way he will have a reason to have you tested. It worked for me!

If you really believe that why use at all. What is the difference really in someone being on a year and someone who is doing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for the rest of their life? Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is forever.

What about trying to play in the europe league? And after a few seasons of that you could try to come back to the nfl. Or at least, you might be able to have a nice career in the europe league doing something you love. There is also Arena, but theres no money in that.

Yeah, we are all doing something that "could" cause us harm, but we all know that the more you take and / or the longer you do them increases the risk. Even though we are doing something dangerous, in a way we can increase or decrease how much of a danger it actually is.

And as far as bloodwork is concerned, look into having SWALE or someone like him check your bloodwork. It will set you back a little cash, but you won't have to worry about your doctor getting ideas that you are on AAS. And people like SWALE will test for other important things concerning the Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) user that a regular doctor would not.

I appreciate the tip on the bloodwork. As far as football goes bro, It is a dirty business and very hard to get to the pro level. I am a strength and conditioning coach and I coach high school ball now and focusing on training in the gym. I am still doing something I love just the pay isnt as good.
