Use testosterone to help quit caffeine? Lol

This is probably a silly question but I was thinking of taking a low dose of T to help me quit caffeine. I’ve been trying to quit caffeine for 7 years and I’m sick of this addiction. Say I took it for 6 months and brought my levels up to 1000 or so. My current level ranges from 300-550. (I’ve gotten four tests done at different places) Would it give me an edge to permanently quit caffeine or do you think that I’ll just be miserable when I come off of the test and resort to caffeine again? My main problem is that I have to be high functioning at my job and I support a family. So I don’t really have any days off to go through a couple weeks of caffeine withdrawals.

It won't help at all.

Best thing you can do to quit caffeine is just go cold turkey. Take aspirin for the headaches. It will be out of your system in just a few days and you will feel fine.

just go cold turkey, and drink alot of water and fresh juices. Youll thank yourslf years from now.

No test won't help quitting caffeine. You'll go through some hellish headaches for few days but you'll be fine.

Why would you want to quit caffeine? I'm a coffee drinker, but also a coffee snob. I make my own espresso with a good machine and good beans. If you drink that toxic shit at work then I could see why, that crap will eat a hole in your stomach.

Good coffee is much lower in coffee than junk made from robusto beans, any chance you are drinking the low quality stuff?

"Back when I was picking beans in Guatemala, we used to make fresh coffee, right off the trees I mean. That was good. This is shit but, hey, I'm in a police station..."

Not sure what to make of that Milton??? You are either quoting from a movie, or telling some weird ass life experience.

Is Juan Valdez your uncle?

hahaha, no my friend, have you not seen the Usual Suspects and Verbal Kent saying these words?

Instead of trying to quit Caffeine.
Concentrate on reducing the amount that you drink per day.

A few years back, I was drinking Coffee like it was going out of Style.
So I started cutting back 1 Cup per Week.
Now I'm down to 1 Big Cup of Black Coffee, and I don't miss the rest............................... JP
P.S.
How much Coffee or Tea are you presently drinking in a day ?

What?? How one earth did this get into a coffee Vs Tea debate? The poor guys talking about quitting caffeine. He never mentioned shit about coffee or tea. Most of us get the majority of our caffeine intake from pre-workouts and other sources containing caffeine/possibly coffee.

Milton, I did enjoy your movie quote. The usual suspects is a great movie.

To answer the original question , taking testosterone to quit caffeine is a horrible idea. As stated above, go cold turkey and push through it.

I tried to make the switch to tea once to wean myself off of coffee but choose the wrong tea to drink,(it was all written in Chinese) some Chinese blend super high in caffeine, i was up for days off one kettle.
But really op, if your looking for natural approches why not eat more foods that will boos your own testosterone levels like coconuts, oysters and garlic ?

Guess I missed that adventure. Can't say I'm sorry. was that one of your stretches in central america? Haus Guatamalian bean picker....LOL

I jumped on the anti-caffeine meme because I see doctors say to drop caffeine, limit alcohol, and cut out salt for just about anything that ails you, and 9 times out of 10 it has nothing to do with these things. Just a pet peve I guess.

If you want to quit it then just quit. Just be prepared for a little less energy, a little less pop, and a slightly higher chance for Alzheimers.

I remember one time I got into climbing the stairs at work, for 12 storeys. Was always out of breath and it seemed harder than it should be. I decided caffeine may be dragging me down, so decided I'd go without for a while and see how the stair climbing went. Was surprised when it got harder without the coffee. Ha! sometimes cause and effect are not what we expect.
