Using Clomid For Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) = 980 Testosterone Level

I did Tamoxifen for a year at 20mg and the whole time kept my test level at 1000-1100...felt great but now off 2 months my test has dropped to 660 and I feel not so good.

I did a round of nolvadex about a year ago. It did bring my test levels up, but I just did not have that test feeling. I was not my typical "horn dog" self and my strength was not there.

I starting back on my Tamoxifen...it was a sucess the last time so hoping it works just as well this time around.

For sperm count.

So I went to the doc to see if I can do a "restart" of my natural Testosterone after finding my T levels at a pathetic 350 ng/mL

Here is the Protocol he gave me:

-Clomid: 15 mg every other day
-Cabergoline: 0.5 mg weekly
-Vitamin D: 5,000 IU daily
-BPA Detox: Stop drinking/eating out of plastic containers
-Super Sea Veg: (This is to help your body excrete BPA)
-BONUS: Sublingual Testosterone Drops!: He gave me a small "eyedropper" bottle full of pure testosterone. (25mg per drop) He said anytime I need a "boost" I can put 3-5 drops under my tongue and get a surge of testosterone. Before the gym, before sex, before an important business presentation, etc.

The Cabergoline is to lower Prolactin levels since I came in high.

The Vitamin D is because my levels came in low in one of my previous blood tests. Raising Vitamin D will mean better T production.

Below is my bloodwork when he had me on 25mg. of Clomid per day to test my responsiveness:

As you can see I responded well to the Clomid which boosted my LH and FSH and shot my Testosterone through the roof.

He told me that by taking Clomid at a low dose of 15mg. every other day I can avoid the negative side effects.

He also told me that if I find any negative side effects he can switch me over to Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), but he'd rather try this first because Clomid stimulates your natural LH production... Whereas HCG only mimics LH and you are bypassing part of your hypothalamus.

Thought these results might be interesting to anyone who wants to try and restart their body's own T levels before you inject T and shut yourself down completely.

I think anyone who is thinking about testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) should do this Clomid test to see what your body is capable of... I had no idea I was able to boost my LH and T levels that high without injecting T... Pretty exciting stuff.

I felt really strong on 25mg/day of clomid. I discontinued after a week due to side effects and overly high T(1322) on test report. I wonder if I should go ahead and resume at a lower dose.
My main target is to increase sperm count.

What side effects could you get from 25 mg of clomid/day?

I also had success with clomid. I was prescribed 25mg everyday by my urologist. it bumped my total test from 202 to 890 after 4 weeks of use. I have now been off clomid for 2 weeks and started feeling symptoms of low T again...depression, no libido, ED, and weak weak in the gym. so i got tested yesterday after being off the clomid for 2 weeks and my total T is back to 522. I have a feeling this increase in T is not going to stick as I have already decreased dramatically.

Labs while on clomid 25mg ED at week 4
total T 890
lh 7.8
fsh 5.2
estriadol 5.1 LOW i still felt shitty at this point probably due to the low estrogen.

Labs 2 weeks after clomid stopping
total T 522
lh 2.0
fsh 1.5
estriadol 26 feel just as bad as before clomid.

So my question is do I try another 4 weeks on the clomid or talk to the urologist about TRT. I have an appointment in about a month. Seeing the trend of my labs on and off clomid I don't think my T will stay... advice from any testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) guys?

TRT or Clomid again?

looks good.
have you used T shots in the past? any history with AAS?
You never told us your age?

I have used AAS for the past 5 years. I am 22 been cycling on and off (mostly on) since 17. I know, way to young, but I don't regret it one bit and I believe it gave me the confidence and determination that got me where I am today. And I don't mean in the gym. I am an ER nurse, married, and have a baby on the way. Not your average clueless 22 year old. I have been off of everything for 4 months now which is the longest since I took my first shot ever. I am just contemplating testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with the trending of my labs. Not to mention this is the third failed restart even WITH urologist and endocrinologists help.

Can you post your labs? And do you know what your numbers were like before your first cycle by any chance?

Awesome, let us know how that works. I'm assuming you'll be getting bloodwork done.

I've got my bloodwork coming up in 2 weeks so I'll be sure to post it here.

Hey babyface58, could you please share how you are feeling now? I am starting on Clomid and feeling little better esp. Mental fog, mental tiredness and digestion.

So I am wondering if clomid use helped you to recover

Hello to all. I am looking for some advice. I am a 46 year old white male that has been suffering from low T since I was 42, runs in my family. At that time my level was 215 and I had to convince my doctor that it was not a normal level for my age he was reluctant but eventually gave me a script for cyp 200mg injection every 2 weeks. This worked got my level up to 450 but dropped immediately when I stopped injecting. Since then I went to a HRT clinic and my recommended treatment was:
2x weekly 200mg test cyp
2x weekly 1mg anastrozole
2x b12 injections
2x weekly HCG
Daily injections of sermoreline
DHEA cream every other day

Test results:
Estradiol: 5
Total test: 511
Sex hormone Bind Globulin: 10
Free Test: 35.77
IGR-1: 219

The labs were after I had not injected for 3 weeks so I imagine my total test would have been higher. I felt great other than the acne. That is a lot of needles and is expensive $1000 for 10 weeks. I wish I had been hitting the gym while injecting but I didn't want my wife to go off on me as being a junkie. I did start injecting again but have not been consistent with it. I feel like crap but am still able to function. Will Clomid be a better choice? Do i just suck it up buttercup and accept the fact i need to stay on this. Again I have an appt coming up with a new doctor just want some advice before going in. Thanks

First, why not start your own thread instead of hijacking this one. Please start your own thread.

Second: of course you feel like crap. Your estradiol is way too low
