Ventrogluteal.. Just to clear things up..

Ok, I've seen a couple posts on this, and I just want to clear things up.

This is how it's described:

‘To identify the ventrogluteal
site, position the palm of your right hand on the
left greater trochanter so your index finger points
towards the anterior superior iliac spine (use your
left hand on the right greater trochanter). Now
spread your middle finger to form a V. The injection
site is in the middle of the V.’

I didn't really understand this, but after looking at a medical website, apparently that one pic of the dudes ass on these forums looks a little wrong. With the pic on the medical site, it's more of the hipflexor, and its more towards the front of the body than on the ass.. I'll post a pic to show you what I'm talking about. I was just making sure that it's more of a hipflexor shot than a way upper-outter glute shot.

I just feel my hip bone and shoot about 4" below it right in the middle of the side.

I use a 1" 25g and i can bury it, im fairly lean though, about 9% bf.

How could you put your hand like on the pict ?, I'am not that flexible lol By the way this injection site seems interesting to try but I'am afraid that I'am not able to locate it very well...

Haha I think I'm in love w/ the ventrogluteal..

I am beginning to wonder if I even got it in the muscle since I can't even feel it? Is this normal or could I have actually missed something?

I used a 1" 25g pin (1mL QV Prop).. I'd say there is about 1/4" of fat there, and thats before I stretched the skin my fingers..

I guess this is what's so great about it, no feeling.

Hopefully I didn't miss! Tell me something good!

It is a great spot, easy to hit, ive shot there with up to 3cc's and rarely feel anything.
