weekends off?

Hey I'm really not questioning weekends off but my question is =I work sometimes more than 75 hours a week or at least my job as a truck driver keeps me away that long so I set my routine like this biceps, bench, basically everything in one workout than skip a day. Is there times I should skip more than one day for recovery ?

I'd try to set up 2 days off working out a week but spread them evenly like monday off and thursday off, somethin like that, or even sat and mon off, leave a day between them.

I'd personally try not to take 2 days off in a row as much as possible, need the consistent strain on the muscles to work them but that's just my 2 cents

what's everyone else think?

I recently (about 10-12 weeks ago) cut back to lifting 4 days per week, wednesday, saturday, and sunday off from all lifting, and I've been growing like a weed since I changed it up. Prior to that I was doing AT LEAST 5 days per week, and usually 6, working off of a 3 day split. It can be done, however I'd suggest just trying several splits for a while and seeing what works best for you. If you only got a very little amount of time to work out, like me, do a search for my split on here, or I'll PM it to you. Each w/o takes me like 30-45 minutes.

BTW, please explain that "Squat suffering; major leg injuries in the past" line in your sig. By this I mean what injury(ies) have you had that keep you from doing squats. I can tell you that you can do some form of squats even if you have to switch to smiths. I used to work out with a guy who was a) 6'5" b) had a reconstructed ACL, and c) had arthritis in both knees. After hounding his ass about getting started doing squats for 2 months or so, he finally relented and started light weight and bitching. I talked to him when I went home for Xmas and he's gone from maxing ~225 to maxing over 400 in 5 months. You CAN do some form of squats.
