Weighing Powders?

The scale i use only has a surface area of around 2.5" * 2.5" so i can not simply pour the powder on to weigh it.. I was wondering.. How do you guys weigh you powder out?

Put a graduated cylinder on the scale, tare, and add powder.

Thanks for that.. What do you mean when you say Tare mate? Got any links as to where i can buy a graduated cylinder?

you can use any type of surface...use a cup or something...

Tare, is when you put the empty vessel on the scale, and you rezero it, and add the powder to the vessel for accurate measuring
