Weight gain

Hi, im 21 years old, i weigh 155 lbs however i really want to gain a good bit of weight and muscle. iv been trying to eat a lot of protein and carbs and also taking a weight gainer. if any 1 could give me advise on 1, how much protein i should be consuimg, 2, carbs, 3, how often should i be eating, 4, any ways of keeping the costs down lol, cheers
 
hello, my advice is that if you eat only make muscle protein and natural carbohydrates such as chicken egg white etc.
But if you want to a championship has to be a little chemistry in addition to a strict diet.

Someone told me 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight but mine is higher than that.
The problem is when to eat what and how much... I wish 3J would show up here soon : )

general rule, do 1.5x bodyweight for protein. and twice that for carbs. and eat only good fats. eat every 2-3 hours. every meal make sure u got a good lean protein, and a complex carb.

as far as keeping cost down...well eating good gets super expensive. shop around for sales and whoever has best prices. if there is a super target by u, they usually have real good grocery prices.

that's your first step if you want free diet advice.. it'll also give you some basic knowledge of dieting..
